Yoshi (Host): Welcome to Battle for Yoshi's Island! As the title states, 24 characters will compete for my island. They will be split into 6 teams, and every episode, one team will be up for voting. If you're reading this, after a new episode releases, you can vote for a player to be safe from elimination. Mario: It's a me! Mario! I want this island because I want to-a get rid of all these-a Goombas and clean up-a graffiti people have done all over the place so I can have a relaxing-a vacation!
Luigi: I'm Luigi. I want to explore this island. I hope it's not haunted!
Peach: I'm Peach. Me and Toad want to build a bigger, better castle here. The one I have is too small...
Bowser: HEY! I want a castle, too, you know! I'm Bowser, king of the Koopas, and soon, I'll be king of this island!

Sidestepper: Hey there! I am a random Sidestepper. I came because my beach doesn't have enough sand and I want to find a better place to live.
Goomba: I'm a Goomba and I entered because I thought I could finally make everyone else lose except for Bowser. Oh wait, I shouldn't have said that, that's kinda rude. Let me start over. I'm a Goomba and I came because I wanted Bowser to win. There, that's better.
Yoshi (Host): Alright, now that everyone introduced themselves, I will pick the five with the best reasons to be team captains. These people are... Bowser Jr, Sidestepper, Metal Mario, Goombario, and King Bob-Omb! Each of you will pick three members and name your team.
Bowser Jr: YAY! I'll go first and pick Dad, Peach, and Goomba! We're the Koopa Kingdom!

Mario, Daisy, Wario, Waluigi & Toadette have some pretty dumb reasons for competing, & Bowser did not make Metal Mario, just saying. Rosalina's is weird too...
Plot twist, he did make metal Mario but peach (toadstool, since that was her name back then) stole metal marios cap, causing him to disintegrate, and a toad then lost it in hazy maze cave and Mario found it, but due to hazy maze cave, it slowly vanished. However, it always re-appears in metal cap boxes
