Have you ever noticed that the NPCs drive faster than you on Grand Prix mode? Of course they get speed boosts sometimes, but they just seem to go faster. I have a custom character with the same stats as Mario, and Mario just zips by like it's nobody's business. Do any of you know why it's like this?

This is the most annoying thing in the game, which is why I no longer do Grand Prix mode. it's also why I don't play challenges where you have to win gold cups or win in difficult mode, which is a pain in the butt when trying to unlock characters in Mario Kart O.

yes but you can beat them, I already do it. That's really injust tbh but sadly the game is like that :/

Honestly they are really annoying and way too difficult for no reason. It also felt like the item distribution is way too unfair in both mkpc and mk8d.
