How long has it been since I've done this? 2 months, I think? Anyway-
No intro or anything, I'm getting straight to the point.
Mario Super Sluggers for the Wii. This game is just so good, it's sad it's barely talked about. The motion controls actually work in this game, so that's a plus for any Wii game. The character selection is great, including color variations of some characters like Toads and Shy Guys. The story mode is actually pretty good, the puzzles are pretty fun here. The stadiums are all unique, each one having its own gimmick, except for Mario Stadium. The special shots are all really cool, as well as the cutscenes to go along with it. Oh yeah, the opening cutscene, one of the best parts of Mario sports games in the Gamecube and Wii era. And everybody in this game is just so expressive. It's crazy how much effort was put into this game. Best Mario Sports game, hands down. Far better than Hoops 3-on-3 and better than both Strikers games.
New Mario baseball game for Switch, please Nintendo

Super Paper Mario.
It has been overshadowed by TTYD and the usual "Paper Mario series" arguments (I'm not here to argue on which one is the best/the worst)
This game isn't really an rpg like the other PM (more like a mix between RPGs and platform games). It's like a 2D Mario game, except that you can switch in 3D at any moment with Mario.
The style is also odd, kinda "geometric", but it has its own charm.
The story is very rich, with a very dark, almost tragic tone, which can easily rivalize with the Mario and Luigi games.
The different chapters, even if they're linear, still have a lot of content. Every chapter is almost like unique mini-adventures inside a big story.
The bosses have a good chara design, it's not usually what you expect. Even if some can be either too easy or too hard, they fit the 2D/3D gameplay. Moreover, the post-end game content is huge, there's a lot of collectibles.
Last but not least, the music is, of course, iconic.
So, yeah. It was a good experience.

Not only can you play as Mario, but also as Peach, Bowser and Luigi ! This was insane for me. They all had a different gameplay

I remember not playing the game for 1 year because of level 2-4 because of Mimic chasing you in a labyrinthic area with a stressful music. I'm glad I didn't stop the game at this level.
