Ranking all the Pokemon types

This is a combination of my personal opinions and overall viability.
18. Bug
I have Entomophobia, so I hate bugs. There are cool bug Pokemon, like Scizor, Scyther, Heracross, and Dweeble, but it's probably one of the worst types.
17. Poison
I wish Poison was better. It's only super effective against Grass and Fairy, the former of which already has so many hecking weaknesses, and Steel, an already stupidly defensive type, is immune to Poison. There aren't many memorable Poison types.
16. Ice
Very fragile defensively, as it only resists itself. Ice is Super Effective against 4 types, one of which being Dragon, which is nice, though. It's also Super Effective against Ground, which is a really good offensive type, being Super Effective against 5. Ice is ALSO Super Effective against Grass. Again.
15. Rock
Why do both Rock and Ground exist
14. Normal
It's just bland. Not super effective against anything, and only weak to Fighting. Still somehow has some of the toughest gyms, though.
13. Fighting
I don't really have a strong opinion of Fighting. Resisted by 5, but also Super Effective against 5.
12. Dark
Honestly Dark was only created to counter Psychic.
11. Fairy
Similar to Dark, but against Dragons instead.
10. Flying
...so does Flying represent Air or Birds?
Apparently both.
Also Flying has literally been paired with every single type, no joke.
9. Ground
Electric's only weakness, also good against 5 types, including the bulk that is Steel.
8. Steel
Good against 10/17 types. Very good defensively.
Nothing else.
7. Ghost
Spooky. Immune to 2 types.
Not much else.
6. Dragon
Stronk. Also really badass.
5. Psychic
Used to be Stronk. Also also really badass.
4. Water
There's a lot of them, and they're cool for the most part. They can be pretty much ANYTHING, from tanks (Alomamola) to Sweepers (Greninja) to Get-rid-of-all-stat-buffers (Quagsire).
3. Grass
Weak to so many things, but like Water, can fill pretty much any role, to an even greater degree. Statuser(Amoonguss), Set-uper(Ferrothorn), Sweeper(Leafeon), Speedy Special Attacker with a f*ck ton of Physical moves(Sceptile); you name it, Grass has been it.
2. Fire
GROWLITHE
1. Electric
Shocking, isn't it?
I donno, I just like Electric. Probably because a lot of Electric types are Glass Cannons, which is one of my favorite architypes.
18. Bug

Okay let's see:
18. Ice. I really never cared much for ice types in general. Most of them are bland and the only popular one appears to be Lapras. Competitively you won't use ice types that often, only their moves for good coverage.
17. Bug. Does this even need explaining? Bug has been the worst type in the game for generations. Only reason I put it above Ice is because of my boy Shuckle.
16. Normal. I question why this type exists. The generally large move pools is a plus, but why is it so basic? At least give it one type advantage. Anyway, as Luigi said, the gyms are generally really strong though Insert Whitney flashbacks if I actually played a Johto game
15. Fire. This type is just confusing to me. It has the second highest amount of resistances, but the lowest average defences of any type? Why? Also the fact that Game Freak shoves Charizard down everyone's throats devalues it a bit.
14. Psychic. I never understood why but I just don't like them that much? Gen 1 they were the most overpowered beings in video games, ESPECIALLY MEWTWO, so they got that against them, but now they're just "hit good and die fast" or "Trick room go brrr" for the most part. Not really an upgrade.
13. Poison. Another type that's cool on paper, but the weaknesses make no sense? Steel is immune to it since you can't poison steel but you can't poison ghosts and they're resistant. You can't poison darkness but it's neutral? And why is it weak to psychic and ground of all types? I like it but it just confuses me.
12. Fairy. Decent type, balanced the meta, but wow most of the Pokémon are uninteresting. I'm absolutely fine with types brought in to counter other types, but Fairy just doesn't hit the spot.
11. Electric. Why. Is. It. Not. Strong. Against. Steel? Electric types fill in the fast but frail archetype generally, and I'm not that big a fan. I like quite a few of the Pokémon in this type in other regards though, so it evens out in my opinion.
10. Rock. I always seem to be attracted to the concept of being able to take hits and deal them back in spades (I main heavy characters in fighting games what do you expect) so these Pokémon are right up my alley.
9. Fighting. The strongest type offensively, covering 5 types, and with the power to back it up. They're also pretty useful in playthroughs of older generations doe to Strength and Rock Smash being pretty common among them.
8. Flying. Air has always been my favourite out of the 4 elements, mainly die to the feeling of freedom an aeromancer has. And Pokémon captures that perfectly.
7. Water. Honestly, water types are the most reliable in the game, being able to fit almost any role. Sweeper, tank, support, etc. It's just that not many stand out to me.
6. Ground. This type gained a lot more versatility once it wasn't always tied to rock, and a lot of Pokémon benefit from it. Its immunity to electric is a big help, and having probably the best move in the game is a massive bonus.
5. Dragon. This type is just awesome. Its matchups make sense, the Pokemon look great, and the moves are eye candy. Need I say more?
4. Steel. So remember what I said about taking hits and returning them being my style? Steel is the best defensive typing and I love it. Also I just love the look of metal in general for some reason so the designs always get me.
3. Grass. So I said with Water types they can fill any role you want. Grass types take that concept to its peak. Self-healing, the strongest statuses in the game, s p o r e, the list goes on. They aren't as reliable doe to how many weaknesses they have, but I like the wild-card aspect. Also, Sceptile.
2. Ghost. The lore of these Pokémon. Just, wow. I find myself so invested in the canon and theoretical backstories behind each one. And using them perfectly emulates the horror behind them. Also, Decidueye.
1. Dark. I am, to be perfectly honest, a troll when playing games. So to have a type that fits my playstyle perfectly in so many different ways is amazing. Greninja's Protean, Zoroark's Illusion, multiple statuses and debuffs, it's all there. I can go on and on but this is already too long. tl;dr these are amazing
18. Ice. I really never cared much for ice types in general. Most of them are bland and the only popular one appears to be Lapras. Competitively you won't use ice types that often, only their moves for good coverage.
