Some terrible MKPC ripoff I have to talk about

Everything wrong with this game so far:

- They have Peach & Rosalina but no Daisy
- Limited selection of Mario Characters to begin with. Not even Bowser, Wario, King Boo, or Koopa Troopa are there!
- Mechanics overall look terrible
- The creator accidently used Funky Kong's model in place of Donkey Kong's
- The computer that the CPUs use is awful as they just drive along the track lifelessly in a group and occasionally they fling high in the air & sometimes into the crowd on circuit tracks.
- The animations when you get hit with items and for the drivers are poorly made
- You can actually clip onto the wall of the gap if you fail the shortcut on GCN Yoshi Circuit.
- Lakitu barely appears during the race at all & only seems to actually be seen at the starting line.
- You can also clip behind fences & barriers on tracks that have them
- No joke, you can even drive fully out of bounds!


Only good things about it:

- You can actually snake in this game like MKDS which is pretty awesome.
- Cool crossover character selection, especially Sonic, Goku, Raboot, Robotnik, and Peppino
- At least the graphics and lighting aren't bad despite how terrible the rest of the game is
- The fanfares for overviewing the track, race start/end etc, differ depending on which game the course is from (Wii, Double Dash or DS) adding a touch of uniqueness.

The only two bad things about MKPC so far are the community and online multiplayer!

It's certainly not an MKPC ripoff, it's a completely different type of game. MKPC is retro Mario Kart, while the game in the video is MKW style. Not really comparable

There are better parts of the community, but if you mean the forum then I would agree.

Also, in your opinion, what do you think should change with the online mode?

I agree that there are some shortcomings when it comes to lag, but overall it's a very solid mode for a browser game ngl.

It will never hold up to MKPC. Mariokart PC is still an actively played game by many, and it's literally 13 years old, so it may even have a lifespan not much shorter than Wii.
