what is "reversedrifting"?

i see lots of people refer to it, and they say that its really good, and i see speedrunners do it in world records too. but how do i do it? i know you press reverse while driftin but pressing the down key and letting go of up is way to slow to be viable, but the wrs make it look like a piece of cake. there must ne an easier way right?

It's actually pretty janky, as someone who took a LOT of time to learn it. You need to press reverse while drifting, while also pressing the key that leads to the direction you want to go into (right turn > right arrow e.g.) and you need to do this in a fast way so it produces orange drifts faster than snaking and you can finish a track without even pressing the front arrow if you master that. I was bad at it at first, then I improved and mastered it ! There isn't a simpler way, it's a very hard and rocky path, but you'll be proud if you achieve and master it. Good luck ❤

1. The CPU aren't really evil, just difficult
2. You don't need to reverse drift to beat any of the CPUs in Grand Prix
3. Plural is CPUs. "CPU's" is "something that belongs to the CPU", not plural, possessive. Tiny grammatical error.
