Your online score doesn't me 100% means your level. People can have 5k due to never playing online while being super good overall, in TT or VS Race without playing online. If you're active, and stronger than most of the players you're facing, you can go very high, higher than a better player who is more inactive (max is at 40k while I'm at 26k, but he was way more active during a period of time and we're on the same level)

I've never had any problem with online recently, although in a room I was in yesterday with MKPC players I couldn't send chat messages
