Just wanna say, these wont act like pokemon cards. There wont be energy in this, but I'll explain how the board will be laid out.
There will be 5 slots on each side, and one in the middle. The middle slot on your side will be a terrain. The next 2 slots are 2 character slots, where your fighting cards go. Finally, there are 2 items slots for your characters. The center slot will be for whole field effects, such as weather

Oh there's no cost for moves? OK getting rid of Power from Unexplained Origins.... what was I gonna replace it with again?

Finished the Nudge cards, aside from the character images. If you are wondering about HP, I'm just gonna give everyone 100. Also, not everyone will have an ability. You'll either have 2 attacks, an ability + attack, or in rare cases just 1 attack. Anyway, here are my cards

You can choose characters to be based off of like Dietsoda has, but the cards themselves will be of members. As for what your cards will be, idk

VC: Metal Weaponswoman
Axe Attack: Deal -10 damage to all opposing units.

Ghost Mario: Psychic Runner (closest to ghost type i can get)
Spectral: Does not take damage from defending against attacks unless it has already attacked the previous turn. Getting hit in the invulnerable state still triggers the class's ability.
Pepperbolt: Deal 40 fire-typed damage to one target.


Yoshagon: Normal Supplier
Protector: The first attack taken by an ally is redirected to this card.
Firebreath: Deal -20 fire-typed damage to all opposing units.

Moonlight Howl: Deals 40 damage to a single target
Ambush: Deals 30 Psychic-type damage to all targets

Defence: Izzy - Metal Runner
Karma Claw: Returns all damage dealt
Furry Fury: Deals 20 Metal-type damage to all targets


Huanxiang - Earth Healer
Nature's Heed: Heal 30HP of all allies
Northern Lights: Heal 50HP of one ally

Ykw I’m gonna change how some classes work to make them more unique.

Offence
Brawler - Ignores resisted hits
Weaponsman - Multi-target moves can be used on 1 target for double damage
Energiser - When 50hp or lower, deals double damage

Defence
Runner - If it’s not it’s turn after being attacked, it gets to attack, then turn order continues as normal
Shielder - Can’t be killed in 1 shot
Veiler - Opponent can’t choose who to target. They must flip a coin. If heads, attack veiler. If tails, attack veiler’s ally

Support
Helper - Let’s ally attack in place of it’s turn
Supplier - Ally deals +10 damage and takes -10 damage
Healer - Can heal ally for 50hp

My possible cards

Offence: Koopa - Electric Energiser
Flying Rush: Deals 15 damage to all targets
Blue Shell: Deals 45 eletric damage to the target with the most healph

Defence: Teon - Poison Runner
Gum Sheild: Creates a shield that protects the ally that has the least healph from attacks below 50 damage
Sticky Bomb: Activates a bomb that will do 15
poison damage to one target and will make all dammage taken from that target weeker for one turn

Support: Rover - Grass Healer
Bell Bag: Heal a random ally with a random amount of healph
Mr. Resetti: Heales all of your allys by a random amount of healph

(Don't know if i'm doing this right)

Gonna restart this project, since there will be quite a few changes.
New types:
Light
Dark
Air

With this, there will be some matchup changes, which will also help make different types feel more unique:

Fire: Weak to Water, Resists Fire
Grass: Weak to Fire, Resists Grass
Water: Weak to Grass, Resists Water

Air: Weak to Electric, Resists Earth
Earth: Weak to Air, Resists Electric
Electric: Weak to Earth, Resists Air

Steel: Resists Poison, Resists Psychic
Poison: Weak to Dark, Resists Steel
Psychic: Weak to Light, Resists Steel
Dark: Weak to Light, Weak to Psychic
Light: Weak to Dark, Weak to Poison

Classes:
These here way too complicated before. Now it's going down to just attack, defence and support, which only describe how the character behaves instead of effecting how the character behaves.

Characters:
I will be releasing these in waves of 12 characters, each with 3 cards. The people in the first wave of cards are:

Dietsoda has 3 attacks, but no ability
Max has an ally ability, which means it only activates if his ally is Lely (for different people they will have different allies) but only 2 attacks.
Nudge has a regular ability and like Max, only 2 attacks

seeing as steel resists poison and you have the ability to add 30 damage when attacking stele types, does that just mean you don't get a debuff or buff against steel types?

Also will there be a card where they can make it so only they can be attacked for a turn or so? That would be cool.
