Happens all the time. It's either somewhat baseless or an incomplete conclusion. And don't get your hopes up, if this is true we won't hear again for years if we ever do. I quite like fanmade trailers but they often aren't very good...

I think Nintendo regards Mario Kart Tour as Mario Kart 9, so the next Mario Kart game will be likely called Mario Kart 10
also no shit it's in development, the Mario Kart Team isn't just doing nothing lol, it will probably be teased at the February 2024 direct, as that will be the first Direct after the Booster Course Pass ends

Gonna give updates on the image below when there is good enough progress, so I can give you guys hints on what the tracks are, which can help you solve which 8 members are represented.
Added a most of a new track, while also upgrading the center, and setting things up for other tracks.
HINT: In the second image, 3 of the tracks in development are character tracks, but in the first image, only 2 were character tracks.
Also first person to get all 8 members corrects will be mentioned in my description

You should be able to figure out 3/8 members by now. One has been revealed, one is just self explanatory, and one has their name in the track

The mountain part is surprisingly hard to figure out. The volcano must be you though, and the top left raceway is Wargor
