These are some of my suggestions:
1)make mario kart grand prix mode's bots weaker
2)Add diagonal roads to quick mode (it's that simple)
3)Add more languages: there are only English and French and I think that there would add languages like: Italian, German, Spanish, Romanian, Russian, Japanese, Chinese...
4) Add more smiles: I NEED A MOAI EMOJI

Diagonal roads would be nice, but I want more variation for the stuff we already have. There should be a variant of Shroom Ridge where every left turn isn’t a forest, but it can be a version of the other turns.

These update suggestions can be both minor and major. I don't want people to get the wrong idea and think I'm ungrateful though, I want this to feel like the topic Tendo made if you get what I mean there is one difference though I made the topic and I definitely have infinitely more swag than Tendo!1!1!1!1!1

so I’m making a track in complete mode. I’ve spent an hour on it. I accidentally close out of the tab. All of the time spent on the track, gone. Can that be fixed with autosaving/more frequent autosaving if it already exists?

en gros, la route arc en ciel de mkpc ( du jeu de base ) est vraiment injouable pour les 3/4 de mkpc , élargir la route et la rendre mieux ( respecter le tracé de la ds ) serai bien , mais les chronos n'auraient plus de sens puisqu'on ne mettra pas exactement le même temps ...

I offer a "Character Update".
1. The ability to comment on custom characters like you can on custom circuits and arenas.
2. The ability to make a description for your character.
3. There can be some sort of a message telling in which multicup's roster and probably even which challenge the character is used.

User profile has sections for last forum messages, best circuits, best challenges, last circuit comments, best Time Trial scores, followed topics and published news.
What about a section showing a user's racers? It also would have its own 2 sections with one for openly published characters and one for unlockable characters with challenges you need to complete to unlock the racer.

I think @Wargor should add the ability to make custom trick animations, so the character doesn't have to just spin for it, like you could make it make a pose or face or smth like in MKWII, MK7, and MK8.
