GBA Rainbow Road, as it's missing the jumps on the sides of the road, which was the main gimmick in the original version of this stage.

Warning: Too relatable

SNES Donut plains 3
SNES Choco island 2
SNES Koopa beach 2

Too unfair for who wants to complete grand prix and bots can win 100 times out of 100 easily.

Me:        Bots:
paf

Donut Plains 3 is really easy, because instead of pits, we have offroad

Question: what is the worst MKPC track
My opinion (HOT TAKE WARNING)

Most of these are basically just you not liking tracks that punish mistakes.

SNES bowser castle 1
Reason: the track is too boring, and the jumps add nothing but annoyance to the sharp turns

It's literally the first Bowser Castle from Super Mario Kart. It's supposed to be simple. The jumps exist so you can't just mindlessly hold drift the whole race.

SNES bowser castle 2

Fair enough honestly. The layout is mostly straights and the Thwomps are placed in the most annoying spots possible.

SNES choco island 2

That's kind of the point. The mud forces you to actually control your drifts instead of just chaining them.

SNES koopa beach 2

Yeah the sinkholes are RNG garbage. Probably one of the weaker SNES tracks.

SNES vanilla lake 2

Skill issue.

SNES rainbow road
Reason: not good for online because it is too easy to get bumped off

That's not really the track's fault, that's just how online collisions work in Mario Kart PC.

GBA shy guy beach

The ending section is awkward but it's still fine overall.

GBA sky garden
Reason: too easy to lose lap count, and BAGGING

Lap confusion is a fair complaint. The bagging part is just how the item system works.

GBA ribbon road
Reason: too easy to lose lap count, and everyone always votes it so im sick of it

Being overplayed doesn't make a track bad.

DS figure 8 circuit

Yes, it's boring. It's also literally the tutorial track from Mario Kart DS.

DS rainbow road

Same issue as SNES RR: online bumping.

If we're talking actually bad tracks in MKPC, stuff like SNES Vanilla Lake 2 or SNES Koopa Beach 2 are way worse because they combine slippery physics with RNG hazards, which is just frustrating rather than difficult.

Here is my full list.

The SNES Bowser Castles. The originals were annoying enough, but without the walls, they are a nightmare.

SNES Mario Circuit 3. I hate the sharp turn and I dislike the track in general because of how it always reappears and because of how boring it is.

SNES Vanilla Lake 1. It's a Square.

SNES Ghost Valley 3. The Road is too small.

SNES Vanilla Lake 2. Like VL1, it's a Square.

SNES Rainbow Road. I ALWAYS GET PUSHED OFF! It is almost impossible in Grand Prix. This track and Ghost Valley 3 is the reason I still can't get Link after 4 YEARS OF PLAYING!

GBA Rainbow Road. They removed the bouncy walls. Without them, the Track is annoying.

DS Shroom Ridge. It worked better on the DS. The MKPC version is too small.

DS Rainbow Road. The Road is too small and the track is unbearable.

Undeserved Hate

Alright I noticed a common trend here, almost every person on this topic has a major skill issue and they would enjoy these tracks more if they knew how to drive them without falling off every 2 seconds :p

There is one track however, that I consider to be the worst in MKPC, it was a battle between SNES Koopa Beach 2 and SNES Choco Island 2

Worst Track

And the worst track in base game MKPC, in my opinion, is SNES Choco Island 2

I have a few reasons for this:
>> This track doesn't even last 40 seconds on 150cc
>> The start to this track involves a disgusting NISC on 200cc (Skill Issue Complaint)
>> There's 23 quindecillion trick bumps at the end of the track
>> The giant mud pool in the track does not change how you drift, it kills your speed completely

This track would obviously be much better if it was upscaled a little bit, but the tracks were ripped straight from the Super Mario Kart maps and they do not translate very well in terms of gameplay

one of the worst tracks in the base game is DS Figure 8 Circuit. It’s bland, has no hazards, barely any decoration, just pure boringness. It’s only good because you learn reverse drifting and snaking on it.

With me, it is all SNES Bowser's Castle not have walls.

SNES bowser castle 1
Reason: the track is too boring, and the jumps add nothing but annoyance to the sharp turns

SNES bowser castle 2
Reason: too many straight lines, annoying thwomp placements, jumps add nothing, and the turns in the middle are asinine

SNES choco island 2
Reason: annoying jumps, narrow roads, and big mud puddle make reverse drifting impossible without mistakes

SNES koopa beach 2
Reason: ugly green circles and unpredictable sinkholes

SNES vanilla lake 2
Reason: annoying snow, too slippery, and water everywhere

SNES rainbow road
Reason: not good for online because it is too easy to get bumped off

GBA shy guy beach
Reason: the jumps towards the end are unsatisfying and impossible to reverse drift on

GBA sky garden
Reason: too easy to lose lap count, and BAGGING
I HATE PLAYING WITH BAGGERS

GBA ribbon road
Reason: too easy to lose lap count, and everyone always votes it so im sick of it

DS figure 8 circuit
Reason: too boring

DS rainbow road

You lose lap count on SG? That is not common. Also BC2 is definitely the most depthful track in the base game, it has like, the most no item shortcuts, it's the best running track.

imo worst base game track is by far SNES Koopa Beach 2

With CPUs

Pros:
It is quite chaotic

Cons:
In an unfun way

With Other Players

usually, everyone plays with daisy stats so we all have the same weight (unless you're proudster) and thankfully noone picks it bc of the massive patch of water, which if you fall off once, due to water physics, you're falling 3 times.

Time Trials

150cc: Massive Water Patch can make it quite hard just to get one lap

200cc: Tight and Sharp lines near the end are just unfun to grind

btw DS RR is a major skill issue thing
