I've been noticing you guys see one suggestion and then decide it's a good idea to post it again. Try not to suggest things that have been already requested as it's polluting this topic a lot. We really don't need to hear "custom items" with no further explanation for the 600th time.

Every character is the same speed with the stat glitch. Higher speed characters are only very slightly faster because they have a little extra speed before you start to chain drifts but with the caviat of being unable to turn around, making them useless for the majority of tracks.

Anti-Gravity
You can literally just rotate the sprite 90 degrees for a wall, 180 degrees for upside down, and 45 degrees for diagonal. Sort of like what you did with rails...

It would look really ugly, backgrounds are made to be horizontal, so turning it around is just gonna leave a black void everywhere.

Mega Mushroom, Star, and Golden Mushroom Times should deplete faster the closer they are to 1st place, to prevent bagging.

Also Dynamic Music, the ability to change the songs of the stages in the roster via YT, Audio File, etc.

Edit: Bullets and Shocks have this but the items listed above dont have these changes, which could make it easy to breakaway with those items (for example Bullets can easily be chained with golden mushrooms as they are usually common in 8th/12th place odds, maps like Cheese Land, a majority of SNES maps, and a few more are victims of this, basically maps with alot of offroads.)

1. I think bagging and running is quite balanced in this game. Maps with a lot of off-road like 🧀 GBA Cheese Land are always going to be bag oriented unless you nerf last place so hard it's impossible to catch up in literally any race.

2. You can already sort of do this with overrides, though the music won't be a smoothless transition like in 8DX. Unfortunately as far as I'm aware this is impossible to program with how music is currently handled in MKPC.

Absolutely needed. Default online mode is terrible and custom tracks often don't get the credits they deserve. This would kill two birds with one stone.

Yeah it's kinda weird this isn't possible. Same for minimap icons on decors. Feels like an oversight.

I think implementing gliders would be awesome. That'd be the next step to me, considering it'd be pretty hard to represent antigrav on a flat map. Maybe even add 3DS tracks to the Grand Prix to showcase them?

Charge Jumps won't be added for the same reasons the feather item isn't getting added.
Pretty sure I've talked about new items a lot already but they're all very unlikely to get added (especially the 🌩️ Thunder Cloud). Cup limit is there due to technical reasons if I'm not mistaken, it's rare to even reach 40 cups in general.

I think there should be a custom items editor, that would be cool (my suggestion)

1. Add Tranforming (Done With Blue Rings) E.g. boat = ignore water offroad

2. Add A 3d building Mode with Animation This Will Make Tracks Look More 3d and Big

3. MEGA Multicup, made of Multicups (No Race Or Battle Lock, So Making It More Of A Multicup Fuser also it can have 40 Multicups)

3. Custom Race End Like Sonic & All Stars Racing Tranformed

4. All Stars Power Up From Sonic & All Stars Racing Tranformed

5. Pressing The Button To Drive During The Countdown Gets You A Boost Start Level, Fail And Lose All Levels

6. A guy Who Says Stuff Like Powerup you get, Someone with all stars, etc

7. VS. Mode [RACE TRACKS ONLY] (Note: Not Like The VS Mode For MKPC) VS. Adds A Rounds Counter can go from 3 to 99 in a round one character is chosen and you have to get far from them before they get far off past you, if the time hits 0 if you are in 1st next round, if not you lose

8. Pursuit Mode [RACE TRACKS ONLY] You Must Beat The Tank There Are 4 Difficulties:

Introducing: Themes

Themes could be a small drop down menu in the settings of your profile, where you will initially have two main themes. Modern (For the people who would like a fresh coat of paint for the UI) and Legacy (For the people who want MKPC to have the same look as it does today. The player is able to switch between these themes at any time.

The general layout of the site will remain the same. However, certain visual features will be improved upon in this theoretical update. The "FINISH" text won't be some random orange text that appears, contrasting to the rest of the font. It will be like a more Super Mario Kart like Finish, like with the other UI on screen. Leaderboards when finishing a race won't be green rectangles and fonts will be somewhat consistent.

Not everything needs to be changed, but just a few things that feel inconsistent or out of place.

The Current Solution We Have And Why It's Not Great :s

Up to and including now, players have been able to change the look of Mario Kart PC through Chrome extensions that allows you to edit how your client views a webpage. This offers more customisability and is currently one of the only alternatives to change the look of Mario Kart PC, but it has some pretty significant flaws.

Firstly, it's completely inaccessible to mobile players, even if you are to somehow figure out a way on mobile, it's not going to be easy to change stuff. Secondly, this is a very manual process, you have to change a lot of things to make Mario Kart PC look just right for you.

Conclusion / TLDR

I think by having themes on Mario Kart PC, it could look like a more polished game whilst still maintaining the structure of the site. It's not the hardest feature to implement (and probably not of most priority), but I think it will make the game look much better.

This would be very annoying. Hate to break it to you but nobody is going to spend more than 30 seconds looking at a profile. Not even mentioning all the earrape and other trolling potential.

In Grand Prix, instead of a single "Retry" button which restarts the whole freaking race, there should be 2 buttons instead: "Retry race" and "Retry track".

They should also add a "Get gold cup" button, saves us a lot of time.

Can't say I blame you. 2024 felt way more active than 2025. What should be an awesome fangame has become a social media platform for 9-12 year olds with barely any moderation (highly irresponsible!)

Maybe once Wargor decides to put forums less on the forefront (has been repeatedly requested for at least 18 months) people might actually play, but I even doubt that by now.

Online ww are with the garbage base tracks and people who can't RD, assuming you even manage to find enough people for a room. Singleplayer is boring too as CPU's are too easy (they're only 'difficult' difficulty in GP mode) and it's difficult to find any good challenges (even the advent calendar struggled this year for the first half)

Only thing there is to do is make custom tracks nobody will play or wait for a mogi to miraculously gather. Shame.
