Very normal and mature reaction
Anyway there's more to a layout than just the shape. Sure it's literally just a circle, but there's also the mobile floors leading you into a hole if you're not careful. All the item boxes are placed near set hole so getting any items on this arena comes with the large risk of losing balloons. The giant thwomp disrupts gameplay, preventing the arena from being too stale. Also I'm not even mentioning the amazing track art (gif tracks can be very hard to make)
