European Shield: France VS British Islands!

Bonjour à tous, dans exactement une semaine, le samedi 20 avril 2019, aura lieu le Bouclier Européen! Il s'agit du 1er match/tournoi officiel entre 2 équipes nationales! :D

Le but de ce match est de développer le côté "esport" du site ainsi que de développer les matchs en équipe.
En effet, bien que le site atteint un niveau de popularité sans précédent cette année, peu de gens sont actifs aussi sur le forum que dans la vie sociale du site. Ce match aura donc pour but de faire découvrir le monde des tournois aux membres du site. 8)

Le Bouclier Européen s'inscrit comme le 1er Trophée du site: mais qu'est-ce qu'un Trophée?
Il s'agit d'un mini tournoi opposant 2 sélections nationales sur 1 seul match.
Le concept est repris du tournoi des 6 nations au rugby, où certains matchs mettent en jeu un trophée entre 2 équipes spécifiques (Trophée Garibaldi entre la France et l'Italie).
Ce ne sera pas le seul Trophé à être joué, d'autres matchs d'exception seront prévus, restez à l'écoute! ;)

Comme son nom l'indique, le Bouclier Européen va opposer 2 nations européennes:
-la France, pays d'origine de Mario Kart PC, ainsi que de son créateur, @Wargor. Egalement terre de plusieurs grands joueurs sur le site.
-Les Îles Britanniques, autre pays d'Europe à se démarquer dans le classement online, abritant plusieurs joueurs prometteurs.

Comment va se dérouler le tournoi?


C'est assez simple: le tournoi ne va se dérouler que sur un seul match. Ce match va être joué sur 8 courses. Le but pour les 2 équipes est de récupérer plus de points que l'adversaire. Les points sont distribués à la fin de chaque course, et ceci de la même manière que sur le mode solo:
1er-10pts
2ème-8pts
3ème-6pts
4ème-4pts
5ème-3pts
6ème-2pts
7ème-1pt
8ème-0pt

A la fin du match, l'équipe avec le plus de points remporte le titre! Les joueurs recevront une distinction honorifique ainsi que 2000 points online chacun! ;)
Les perdants, eux recevront simplement 1000 points online chacun pour leur participation. :)

Hello everyone, in exactly one week, saturday 20th of april 2019, will be played the European Shield! It will be the 1st ever official match/tournament being played between 2 national teams! :D

The goal of this match is to develop the "esport" side of our website, and also team matches in the same time.
Indeed, even though Mario Kart PC got a new record of popularity this year, there are not many people who are active in the forum or the social life of the website at all. This match have the goal to make people discover the world of tournaments. 8)

The European Shield is the 1st tournament called a Trophy, but was is a "Trophy"?
A Trophy is a little tournament played between 2 national teams on 1 match only.
The idea was inspired by the rugby's 6 nations tournament, where some matches put in play a special trophy booked between 2 specific teams (Garibaldi Trophy between France and Italy for example).
This Trophy will not be the only one played, many other are in preparation, be aware of the news! ;)

Like his name suggest, the European Shield will oppose 2 european teams:
-France, where Mario Kart PC and his creator, @Wargor, originates. Also the motherland of many great players online.
-British Isles, another european "country" (British Isles is a combination of United Kingdom and Ireland) who stands out of mass, motherlands of emerging players.

How the tournament will be played?

It's relatively simple: the tournament will be played on one match alone. This lonely match will be played on 8 races. The goal, for both teams, is to finish the match with more points than his opponent. These points are distributed at the end of each race, following the same system used in sole mode:
1st-10pts
2nd-8pts
3rd-6pts
4th-4pts
5th-3pts
6th-2pts
7th-1pt
8th-0pt

At the end of the match, the team with the most points won the title! Players from the winning team will won a special distinction for winning a trophy with their national team, with 2000 online points each! ;)
For the losing team, players will won 1000 online points each for their participation with their national team! :)
