#1 3DS, just nostalgia. MK7 is peak and no one has the right to react cross. You can also play Pokémon: Legends: Arceus on a 3DS, I'M NOT KIDDING... You could play DS games too, BUT REMADE!? HECK YEAH!

I've been thinking about this a little bit, but custom rules for our own Grand Prix would be kinda nice. Like setting the difficulty of the CPUs, how many racers in total (for example: 12 like MKWii & MK8, 24 like in MKWorld), and also setting the engine class so it's not forced at just 150cc. It would be nice if we could set our own Grand Prix in like Mirror mode or 200cc.

Yeah definitely agree, CPUs are way too easy especially in GP mode. In my opinion getting a gold cup should be an actual challenge.

3. Maybe, but barely anyone plays battle mode anyway. Most people play Mario Kart to race, but then again new modes could entice more people to play battle mode. Hard to tell.
