Someone on YouTube came up with a good idea for Sunset Wilds.
So Nintendo can't change the skybox and lighting mid track, so how about give it the animal crossing treatment and give it different times each time you play it.

How come almost everyone has a problem with the fact that the sun doesn't set midrace in Sunset Wilds? Tbh it fits the theme better with it staying the same, since after the sun sets, it's no longer sunset, invalidating all the points I have seen of how they supposedly removed half of the track name and how it is now just "Wilds". And it's not like it effects the way the track is played. You also consider that it would be a lot harder to add in a game like MK8DX where the skybox wasn't designed to be able to change mid race for Sunset Wilds, baring in mind they definitely hadn't planned it to be on MK8, and used mostly the same code to port it to Deluxe whereas in MKSC it's made of sprites, which is easy to change mid race. And yes MKTour also had the background change, but the difference here is that it probably had the track in mind, so they made it so the skybox was able to change. Although I doubt the forum kids will care about this message and will just facepalm me and continue to cry about how they "ruined" the track
EDIT: Oh yeah, and if it never had it in the first place no one would care and probably think the remake is a much better track

I think without the track turning to night, it looses some of it's identity. Though alot of people are super over-reacting about it.
Edit: and yes, if Sunset Wilds never had the Sunset gimmick, no one would care. Because it wouldn't have existed.

Does anyone notice any similarities between the SMW Ghost House theme and the SMB1 Castle theme? Or is it just me?
I looked up some sheet music. They're close in structure, but Ghost House is way higher, and a little faster.
There's a tad more to it, but I'm not good enough at music to describe it, especially to a non-Music person.
Also Mario 1 theme is far shorter.
Consensus: Close, but not that close.

What Is Everyone's Opinions On Sonic CD? I Think The Game Is Good But Some Of The Music Is Bad.
I'd say it's a solid B.
It's the odd one out of the Classic Sonic games (1 CD 2 3 K), and I'm not too big of a fan of looking for robot genorators, also the special stages can range from fair, to "I SHOULD'VE HIT THAT!". But the music slaps in both versions! Some highlits are Quarts Quadrent Present US, Final Fever JP, Sonic Boom, and who could forget Stardust Speedway Bad Future JP!
Also intoduced 2 great characters! (BTW let's take a moment to spew a fun fact: Amy was 8 in CD, but when she returned in Adventure she was 12, and yet Sonic is still 15.)
Overall, it's alright, not that good, but not bad either, I would give it a 6.2/10 but THEY HAD TO RUIN THE SPIN DASH, THEY CROSSED A LINE! LITTERAL 0.00000000000000000001/10! NEVER PLAY!

We won't get anything from Africa or South America, and now we have 3 similar courses to split between the two waves(Athens, Rome, Piranha Plant Cove). If Rome had been day then it could've gone with Cove, but it's ALSO at night. No matter which way they split it, it's gonna feel super samey. And also Europe sucks after a while. And we're still getting Madrid, by the way. Just.....why????
I don't agree. It's different from Athens due to the simple fact that it's at night and that Athens doesn't actually go into the city. It's also diffirent from cove because we don't know if there is going to be water.
