I introduced my friend to mkpc today, and he only has a phone. when he tries to play, the mobile controls wont appear and we cant find a way to fix it. so right now he cant play, and we need help

Yeah - I played through them all. Before doing this I had only already played Superstar Saga a couple times and most of Partners in Time (I gave up around Star Hill due to being really underleveled). They're damn good games, and if you're thinking of playing any of them, please do! I might at some point do reviews on this topic but no guarantee. I know most people on the site aren't gonna care too much but that's why this is in Various Discussions. The reason I actually did this is the announcement of the TTYD remake. Even though I don't know the release date, I want to complete every Mario RPG before it's out, and I'm planning on taking on the Paper Mario games next. I have already played 64, TOK and TTYD but not SPM. I will not be playing Sticker Star or Colour Splash, I like my video games remotely enjoyable.

paper jams my favourite, first one I played. I wouldve played way more of this series if I had a 3DS. But I dont, so it took me until early this year to discover emulators [like citra] which can run games on consoles I dont have. After that, I started playing lots of mario games like that, including all the mario and luigi games on the 3DS. Shoutout to PabloMK7 [who plays mkpc btw] for making this awesome emulator

12023 - A year in review

this year for me started out pretty nicely, but I was very inactive for like half the year, then came back in september till october, then was inactive for a few weeks then came back and am still on today.
ok, so school got in the way of absolutely everything this year.
anyways, moving on:
It was in april where i FINALLY learnt to properly create complete mode tracks,
may-september: big mkpc dramas I was barely involved in, me making some new tracks, other than that absolutely nothing happened
october: I returned from my inactivity, more new tracks, including my best one, Royal Raceway,
my birthday happened at the end of the month and got a new tablet as a present
november: nothing happened at all
december: probly worst month of the year for me. got banned from discord for being underage, with my account having so much stuff on it that I will never be able to recover, even with alts.

Honestly, this year has been a great year on MKPC! Unfortunately, this fantastic year is coming to an end! 
Also, thank you for being such a nice community you lot! I may have been hated in 2022 but I've learned a lesson not to break the rules.

when I mean resolution I mean like the size of the sprite like 64 pixels by 64 pixels for the sprite size

What's the Reverse Drift and how do you do it?

I've already got the basics of reverse drifting [im pretty sure], although I can only reverse drift to the left with both the forwards and backwards keys being pressed, when I do it to the right, I can only rd with the backwards key being pressed. It still makes me go faster both directions, I just rd to the left better. Oh and I keep hitting walls over and over and OVER again. But that is to be expected, isnt it?

I have finally bothered to start learning to reverse drift. Right now the two things I need to work on are bigger miniturbos, the timing to start drifting, and not mixing up the controls.

Im Miles, Currently going through somewhat of a namechange (on mkpc not in real life oc), I love making tracks, and I have started to get into complete mode. I like to race online, but don't expect me to accept every invitation I receive. I am great (digital) friends with @_ShinyLove_s32s and @VC, I reccomend checking them out. I am currently in Year/Grade 5 at school.

We should add a combination of the fire and ice flowers from mario kart 8 and 8 deluxe. It could let you throw fireballs for 30 seconds and iceballs for 30 seconds in any order. It could also burn or freeze racers (even ones in stars or bullets), stopping them in their tracks for five to ten seconds. This should only be obtainable in 12th place, and would be incredibly rare, because it would be so powerful.

in my opinion, the POW block is a great concept pulled off a little badly, but I think it would work way better in mkpc than it does in mkwii. One way we could maybe make it is that you are not immune to it no matter what item you use, not even a star or a bullet bill, but we keep the immune-to-pow-when-in-the-air thing
