There was one dream I had as a child that I swear I still remember to this day where I was watching Sesame Street & Mr. Snuffy (don't remember his full name) was lighting candles on himself too many to the point where he blew himself up like a nuclear bomb.

Yeah, it was very disturbing and didn't make any sense.

If he nerfed RD'ing then I would probably throw my computer like in this video:

Damn, it's been such a long freaking time since I've made a single message or topic on this forum. I don't really use it anymore, mostly because I want to avoid all the drama. And next year, it'll be my 5th anniversary since I first joined MKPC back in 2020. Milestone, isn't it?

Anyways, in case y'all are rusty, you might've not seen me on MKPC for possibly quite some time. Weeks, possibly months even. This is pretty much because the game's become essentially boring, way too boring for me in fact. First of all things, the menu's pretty much been untouched since it first released in 2010 (that was way before the game became popular outside of France dear god), with just the plain void-black background and that pale yellow text with the crude gray rectangles resembling buttons (feel free to check out my revamps of both menu screens on discord hehe). Secondly, I've just gotten tired of the game's physics. MKPC feels just more like a speedrunning game than a actual Mario Kart to me now. And the fact that I know how to reverse drift makes it feel like you're actually not even driving a kart, just playing some weirdass tech type running game where your main goal is to stay in the middle of the track, & not touch the offroad.

Thirdly, and last but not least, the lack of activity in the main game, YouTube, and in the Online Mode are also what's driving me away from MKPC. But then again, those things are all highly understandable, since the game's community is not that huge and most international players probably only go and chat/write fanfics on the forum anyways (Hoppingicon's MK Bundle Deluxe is MKPC's most popular multicup, yet it rarely READ: RARELY has anybody online playing the tracks. Seriously?).


Life outside of MKPC has been going decent for me so far. I got a modded 3DS and Wii U, and I still plan on getting both CTGPs on the two consoles. Who knows what kind of content I produce in the future! I've also been making a lot of content for the competitive scene of the Roblox game Karting League (that game is UNDERRATED, I recommend playing it. it's a great recreation of mario kart on there). With everything being said, I've heard about a game function similar to Fortnite's Battle Pass but Mario Kart'ified being overhyped on the discord, so there's a chance I might, just might come back to playing more regularly if something similar or if another site-and-game-changing feature becomes a reality.

Desert Hills is rather easy for me actually

- No problem with Peachette being in the DLC, although I do think that Nabbit or Hammer Bro could've replaced her

- Wii Coconut Mall I actually don't have anything bad to say about, despite that the cars originally didn't move

- I prefer the times before the Wave 4 balancing patch happened

- SNES Mario Circuit 3 is easily the worst track ever in the whole game

Lately on MKPC, there's been a lot of attempts to recreate the CTGP aspect of Mario Kart on here by multicups.

Sadly, most of them I feel tend to crash & burn, due to the nature of MKPC.

I'm not really sure if I have a favorite VGOST, but Eltnum's theme from UNIB really slaps hard.

2. Yeah, I agree. That can be frustrating

3. Oh, you can't? Ngl, I've actually seen a few custom tracks that simulate glider ramps where you can do that.

4. 100% agree on the Thunder Cloud. They could've very easily replaced it with one of the Special Items from Double Dash.

5. Seems pretty legit. Having never touched that difficulty as a kid, I don't know.

6. That explained in three words: Practice makes perfect.

7. Same reason as above. Just learn the techniques online & you'll become better. Trust me on that one!

8. The OG Wario's Gold Mine is pretty mediocre, but not nearly as bad as MH or RR. It's really one of the only hard tracks in the Flower Cup, and just like I mentioned a couple times before, you'll become much better with practice.
So glad you mentioned Moonview Highway. It is probably one of the worst tracks ever in the game.
Yeah, I'd say Rainbow Road from Wii is also out there as one of my most hated tracks.
In MKPC (this game), the water also slows you down. Now, granted, I may be just bragging, but the game was originally developed in a time where the Wii was popular, you know.
I think I can agree on DKJP somewhat.
SNES Mario Circuit 3 may be mediocre in Wii, but it's even more worse in 8 Deluxe.

If you really think those tracks are that bad, then if you haven't done it already, homebrew your Wii, go to the Chadsoft website, and download CTGP. It adds loads of new courses that the vehicles can actually handle & you can play online again.

9. If you're taking about TAS ultra shortcuts then ultimately yes.
