Worst Track in the Base Game?
On 2025-07-28 at 22:14:16
Snes Bowser Castle 2. Exhibit A. Long Boring Straightaways. Exhibit B. Weird Squares that are awkward to drive around. Exhibit C. A dead end meant only to troll you. And to top it all off, in this game, you can fall off the edge instead of just bouncing off the walls. Bowser's Castle 2 is a prime example of bad track design.
Something you HATE a lot

The fact that Petey Piranha was replaced by Piranha Plant in Mario Kart World, but King Boo (the less interesting character) still got in.

Thundercloud item is overhated (I like it)
With 24 racers, the Thundercloud would feel right at home in MKW.

if i say kb2 is a good track would that be a hot take?
In Super Mario Kart, not really; in DS, no one remembers it; in World, YES.On 2025-07-29 at 21:42:35
Mario Kart Wii is overrated. The items are unbalanced and getting hit by one KILLS your speed, along with some of the worst rubber banding in the series, and you have an impossible grand prix mode. Also, the motion controls aren't the greatest.
Beanzard64 has a video literally showing that the CPUs in MkWII are the worst in the series, with next to no rubberbanding to speak of. Their AI is the least advanced, and they hardly win races. Impossible Grand Prix is bombastic.

Mario Kart Wii is overrated.
The items are unbalanced and getting hit by one KILLS your speed, along with some of the worst rubber banding in the series, and you have an impossible grand prix mode. Also, the motion controls aren't the greatest. This also hinders the unlockable characters in Wii. I personally like Unlockable characters and karts, but MK Wii takes it to a whole different level. The game has so many unlockables with so many methods, that unless you're a MK Wii Legend, it will take you God knows how many Blue shells and Time Trial resets to unlock everything. Mario Kart Wii also has some of the worst graphics compared to other Mario games on the Wii like NSMBW, Mario Galaxy, and Mario Party 8. Also, the tracks don't as vibrant colors as 7 and Double Dash (it's closest games graphicly). It may seem like I don't like Wii, but it's actually a pretty good game. It's far from being as amazing and unflawed as it's fans make it out to be though. 8 Deluxe is a much more fair and fun game.

I've noticed that my multicup hasn't been played, so I thought making a Topic to show it off would help it. Feel free to post your multicups on here if you want them to be shown off too.https://mkpc.malahieude.net/circuit.php?mid=14051
Is There Ultra Shortcuts In MKPC???

Oh nice! A way to play less of BC2!
Grand Prix CPUs are too hard.

This is just a small nitpick I have with the game, but I feel that it would make the experience all the better. 1. The AI seems to target the player with items even if it seems that attacking someone else would be better. 2. They obviously speed up when falling behind, ESPECIALLY BAD on the final stretch. This could just be a skill issue, but it's just frustrating to tank a track at the end because you get Mario Karted and the CPUs are noticeably faster than you. The game is still great, but nerfing the Grand Prix CPUs would make Mario Kart PC just a bit better.
