It isn't Real.
Simply un-true. The next game IS in development. That's how most big studios operate on long running franchises; finish one project, & pretty quickly start work on the next one. If it were something smaller, like Mario Tennis, they'd wait a bit before developing the next one(also all the sports games are made by the same guys(Camelot), so even then the entire dev team is still working on another game almost immediately afterwards) So it is real. Mario Kart X. The name is not final, of course, but it does exist.

Okay, FYI the Crossroads part is bullshit, but yes, MKX next year.

I don't understand why mario 64 is on the gamecube and not the n64 it literally has 64 in both names. The only way I tell the difference is that mario kart 64 is on the n64 (at least they got that right) whereas double dash is on the gamecube. Someone please clarify.

My username is 34 (in french) because i'm french and the number 34 is a constant i always keep in my old username, and it was Lucien34 every social medias or game with social medias i use Lucien34 except here my name is only 34 (i'm 18 yo so nothing to do with that)

Doing the same thing again is what almost killed the company with the WiiU
The same way they stopped pandering to the GameCubers with the 3DS, I need zero pandering to the Wii/3DS generations with the Switch 2 as a whole, eShop included. Shops are not meant to be whimsical because there's nothing whimsical about spending money. It just needs to run faster really.
Music would be nice but not necessary, especially if it's something I'd put on mute like the old shop themes.
I'd rather they let us choose our own shop theme from some 1st party songs, Xenoblade 3's menu theme/PIKMIN 4 base music would work really well.

i remember watching a raysfire vid about the switch eshop, and playing the weirdest games he could find. there was this one game calles "Skating with Maxwell Cat: The Game Simulator" and, seriously, HOW did nintendo barely think of allowing that into the switch?
I was browsing in the eshop and I saw a hentai game...
They should do like hshop, not include porn games
If you're in a family group than your folks can restrict what games are visible in the eShop for you.
But again I ask, what are you guys looking for when you scroll the eShop? I know that sometimes you might come across something you might be interested in by scrolling, but, like...search up the game you want & get out.

Tbf, most indie games are not good. It usually takes a while for a new creator to make a good game.
I'll also admit that I dunno why you'd ever use any Virtual Shop ever outside of buying that one game that you already know you wanted to buy so maybe I can't really talk about it.

Switch. It's laggy, there's all sorts of trash and they DON'T HAVE MUSIC.
I agree with everything you said. The Switch eShop is Garbage. Another thing you forgot to mention is even with Parental Controls On, Games Rated from T-A are still there. And there are some Games that are Rated T-A with Box Arts that aren't sutable for Younger Kids.
There is definitely a way to restrict what games can be seen on the Eshop. I don't think it's on by default tho.

A Nintendo Direct March 2025 Problem

They resricted the Nintendo Direct for March 2025. I'm 5 minutes from the actual start. But I'm 13, this is sad.
The actual direct doesn't start until 10, so there's still plenty of time. Also you can just watch from a browser while signed out.
Well, I say 10, but that's my timezone. It's in an hour, is what I mean.
I'm at the time zone at Alberta and Idaho. It's 7:24 right now.
Either way, it's in half and hour. Just sign out of your browser and watch it that way.

Not really. 13 years is a long time. Also there's nothing saying that they have to by a new phone. One from 2016(which will be really cheap by now because it's been 9 years would do wonders.(Also because the new phones now are barely upgrades over each other, just like consoles)
