A few music-related things...
1. I think adding frontrunning music would be cool. If the course had both tracks running at the same time, it could just fade between them when you transition in and out of 1st place.
2. Add a 'losing results music' option for custom characters. All of mine use Wii's and it's a little weird to hear the winning music if I just got completely Mario Karted
3. Transpose final lap music up a half step instead of just playing the same loop at 1.25x speed or whatever it is rn.
4. Custom music for multicup menus

Make an "all cup" mechanic like in Mario Kart Double Dash where, upon creating a multicup, you pick the start and end tracks (e.g. Mario circuit and Rainbow Road). When selecting that option in GP, it starts and ends with the two you pick but the others are random (works with any size multicup)
