One small mistake I have noticed is that when talking about validating challenges, the game uses "Valide" instead of "Validate", "Valided" instead of "Validated" etc

Whats your Favorite Mario Kart Item

Honestly, in MKPC, the beset item for frontrunning is the banana.  In VS mode, you spend most of your time in first, meaning you can use the banana as protection from both shells and as a damage buffer for blue shells.  The same is true for online, except for the fact that you spend more time in lower places.

Hum, i could say the same about your country, is offensive, and you realise that Canada have some very great players on MKPC ? (I'm myself included)

So before saying stupid things like that, think about that.

Isn't there just a love-hate relationship between USA and Canada?

Well, ToxTurtle, that depends on what you mean.  Yes, the US and Canada get along just fine in mkpc and real life, with a competitive environment, but that doesn't mean I won't sign a petition to annex Canada as the 51st state. :D

Even you will soon change your mind when you will learn to you will have to team up with them at a potential event at the end of the year.

Is ryubix hinting at a Europe vs. The World tourney at the end of the year 0_o

How often will this be updated?  Nowadays these records change daily (by which I mean I just passed Wazz on SNES MC2)

I might join, but could you elaborate on the format? When will the teams compete, how will the elimination work, etc?

Triple Items, Longer Invincibility, And Blue Shells that act like Mario Kart DS/Wii

I think this was supposed to be someone trying to say they want the items to be more like mkwii/ds.  In those games, blue shells follow the tracks, stars and megas last much longer, and there are triple items.  However, I disagree because of the shorter track length in this game.

Bug discovered

On quick-mode custom tracks, I don't know what causes this, but falling into a square without any actual track pieces in it with certain conditions met makes you complete the lap after getting re-spawned at the Finish Line.
I made a track that showcases this called "Glitch-bow Road". All you have to do is, after the U-turn, fall in the gap where the jump is in front of.

Well, this is a pretty classic example of quick mode custom track jank.  Ultra shortcuts like these are used all the time, and I do enjoy hunting for them in mkpc.

Update: further testing has revealed that sometimes the glitch involving the player spinning out and not being shrunk can occur, while the drift particles will remain the same size, depending on which frame the player is respawned.

Today while in online vs, I discovered an unusual bug.  I was able to recreate the bug in vs mode on a custom track.  When a lightning/shock occurs while a player is being respawned by lakitu, the player (still in midair) will spin out, similar to a standard shock.  However, the player will not shrink in size, and will continue to move at the normal speed, despite spinning out due to the shock.  Interestingly, the player's animation for drifting will remain shrunk in size until the shock timer completely runs out, at which point it will revert to its regular state.  I don't know if the devs/mods want to fix this bug, but I just wanted to make sure they were aware of it.

Key Checkpoints in MKPC Tracks

One of the things that gets on my nerves is that on some tracks (like Riverside Park, Bowser's Castle 2, Broken Pier, and Yoshi's Desert), you can use OoB to cut off huge sections of track while still getting a lap count.  Meanwhile, on Ribbon Road, Airship Fortress, Lakeside Park, and a few others, just barely clipping OoB or even just jumping over Oob can cause you to lose your lap count.

I was wondering if there was any way to view the key checkpoints on tracks (Mainly vanilla tracks, not custom ones).  The reason for this is that many times I have experienced problems with key checkpoint boxes on some tracks.  For example, on Ribbon Road or Lakeside Park, if you take one of the jumps too tightly, cutting off a bit of track, there is a chance you will miss the key checkpoint box and not get a lap count.  This is annoying enough while trying to get a decent time of Time Trials, but even more annoying when I lose hundreds of points online.  Does anyone know if there is a solution?

Goomba. Obviously.
Do you not see his beautiful little eyes, the defined, perfect eyebrows, lovely little teeth.  Have you never seen a majestic Goomba in its flight to or from Mario, potato legs galore, while his round mushroom head bounces above them.  We should adore this perfect creature for a moment the next time we stomp and cruelly murder one.

Rejected Challenges

Recently I made a challenge for my course "Castle COMs" to complete it in less than 28 seconds.  The challenge was rejected my moderators, and although I partly understand why (I used an ultra shortcut that skipped part of the track in the last lap to achieve that time), I found myself a little annoyed.  I think that when mods reject a challenge, they should have to leave a comment describing the reason they chose not to publish the challenge. I feel this would definitely help people whose challenges were rejected in terms of understanding, so I think this should be a feature that should be implemented.  Alternatively, it could be nice if the mod that rejected the challenge could just leave a comment on the course itself :).
