To be honest it's almost impossible to do any snaking on the smaller tracks (At least for me) and i was wondering if there was a way around that since i keep getting last in every race online.

To start, i recommend you trying in time trial the first straight line of MC1, it is pretty tiny so you can train doing snaking on tiny parts
Later, try to do exemple 39,38 or 37 second on it to be sure you're used to that one at least.
After, try to do DS Rainbow Road
And then try a few other tracks in tt or vs, and finally you should be already more used to !

Here are some ideas that actually got me snaking very well.
- Join a friendly online match as use Daisy or anyone with her stats and just do it for fun there. This is the first time I tried and it actually went pretty well, I ended up coming 2nd against 5 other greats then.
- Make a quick mode course using the Figure 8 Circuit theme and practise on that, when you are feeling more confident you can add some trees as obstacles. When you then become even more confident progress to the SNES Mario Circuit theme and then DS Rainbow Road while adding some obstacles. (So from a track with only walls to a track with off-road to a track with holes)
- Just practise on a straight road to get confident with the controls.
- Practise a lot in Time Trial mode, getting the top ranks won't come quickly but picking up the skills will.
- Watch some replays with snaking so you can learn the best strats for the course.
Hopefully this helps ^^
