i think he is trying to say if the blue shell in mario kart 8 (the version that can hit people if they touch it while its sliding on the ground) targeted the people before last place to not explode but just touch them and make them spin out (but kinda like how the red shell works where if you're close enough it will target you but if you're on the side of the road it won't target you)
