Hi, as you know, I had said that I was going to leave the game forever... but a month later I returned to the game XD

In short, I had said I was leaving because of several comments that said they didn't like the SLIGHTEST ASPECT of the circuits, and that made me feel bad (and even more so because I was going through a breakup), and to a certain point I found the game UNENJOYABLE.

And that's why I left, basically because of the stress and lack of enjoyment.

Now... WHY THE HELL DID I COME BACK?... Simple, boredom

Well, this is the important part and I want everyone who follows me to know

The tracks I will make will be more for me than for the community

What does that mean? I'll do the tracks ONLY as a hobby/entertainment (and it's quite noticeable because it's been taking me a long time to make tracks).

This also means I won't take the following things into account:

- Circuit requests
- "the only thing I would change" comments (more specifically editor stuff, nothing about the track image or the bg)
- COMPLETELY ABSURD criticism of details

I also want to say, if there is any mistake on the track, please don't rate it first and then comment on what's wrong, Just say "Hey Nexus, this is wrong with the track, could you fix it?" and I'll gladly do it, and then if you want you can rate it or not, as you wish.

And another thing, there are people who give low stars AND DON'T SAY IN THE COMMENTS WHY THE SCORE GOES DOWN (something that made me feel bad at the time... and they still continue to do). If you are one of these people, please don't do it, that was also one of the reasons why I left.

Well, I think that's all I have to say... I hope the person reading this understands me, if so I'll be very happy.

Good Night

Well, it's true that more than once I did a tantrum just because I got bad ratings on tracks where I invested a lot of time. But with time and a little mental maturity, I remembered that I only do this as a hobby, and my mistake was taking it as something on which I should depend on the opinion of others. I admit that more than once I was annoyed that some of my circuits were criticized for being “overdetailed” or because “you can't see the layout at a glance,” although that point is actually valid.

What I'm getting at is that you should just ignore all the negativity and filter out what you consider to be “stupid opinions,” such as you complaining about a jump, or I remember someone giving me a 4/5 in Shy Guy Toy Box just because I “wasted the track” for not using overrides to make different sections, when that wasn't my intention lol, but anyway, back to what I was saying. At the end of the day, you make circuits mostly for yourself. If others like them, great, and if not, that's fine too. Remember that this is just a hobby and that we shouldn't be giving ourselves a hard time over ratings or doing something just to please others. Obviously, it's valid to accept criticism, but always filter out what is really stupid or unnecessary. Also, remember that we're not here to compete with anyone. Quality doesn't compete or stoop to paying attention to what others are doing. While it's true that sometimes I wish my circuits were more recognized (it sounds egocentric and ambitious, but I can't deny it), but honestly, it's not worth it. As I said before, this is just a hobby. I don't need to take everything so personally when I'm only supposed to be making circuits to de-stress.

Since you mention requests, I completely understand you. I don't accept requests very often because if I'm not really interested in the circuit
(for example, most of the MKWorld tracks don't really appeal to me, and several people have requested them), I do things reluctantly, and then I don't end up liking it because I consider it mediocre.

In short: Ignorance is the best solution to your problems.

Welcome back, Nexus! First off, sorry if my track ratings are a little... harsh at times (not me rating a PRS track 1/5 half because the track is too thin and there are some bad turns BYE), completely agree with you and rh both about not pandering to anyone and everyone, it causes soooooo much unnecessary stress, especially when you've spent an innumerable amount of time fine-tuning the track so it's at least somewhat good to you. Sorry for the rant, I'm honestly glad to have you back here (also sorry about the breakup, I hope you're doing better now)
