Im sure we do have some of this stuff now - But I have been apart of this community for a couple years now and I just got back... no i am not pt.
Im thinking of ways to make our online Mario Kart community more fun and active, like trying to create weekly themed tournaments—things like "Retro Tracks Only" or "Mushroom Mayhem" can really shake things up. Add a bit of competition with time trial challenges, where everyone races the same track and submits their best time. A leaderboard with bragging rights (or small digital prizes) can keep people coming back.
You can also spice things up with fun twists like "Random Kart Build" nights using a wheel spinner, or ghost racing where members try to beat each other's time trial ghosts. Forming small teams or clans for friendly battles gives the group a competitive edge, and lets players feel part of something bigger.
maybe collect funny or epic race clips and turn them into weekly highlight reels—these are great for Discord or social media. Meme contests, favorite track polls, and short interviews with community members (“Kart & Tell”) keep things personal and fun. A little bit of creative content goes a long way.
In Discord, bots can help track wins, assign roles based on favorite characters, or even randomly pick karts. Add a simple XP or rank system so active players can unlock new titles or emojis over time. Monthly awards like “Blue Shell Magnet” or “Fastest Driver” also give people a reason to stay involved.
Host chill game nights for newer players, or mix things up with occasional events from other Nintendo games to keep the vibe fresh. A fun, low-pressure atmosphere will keep people racing together for the long haul.

I think we should have shuffling between character karts, for example
Mario: Pipe Frame (Normal Stats we have right now) Shooting star (+Speed, -Accel)
Bowser: Pipe Frame, Honeycoupe (+Handling, -Weight)
Koopa: Pipe Frame, Cheep Charger (+Accel, -Weight, -Speed. Accel boost is a lot though)
It would be cool to see new meta.
