Literally what i said with the 4+ Sets they look TERRIBLE still no tails this and the 4+ Sets need the Ugly Sonic treatment to look like the Lego Ideas project with rectangular bodies. And while Jeremy (a reference to the Lego Ideas project) and Bobo (the car) are probably only what's good here, ARE WE NOT GONNA MENTION HOW CHATTERMAX IS LITERALLY A BALD LEGO HEAD WITH CHATTERMAX'S BODY PRINTED ON IT (a reference to the Lego Ideas project) And in the Lego Duplo Sets, The LEGO DUPLO Ice Cream Trip with Bluey set LITERALLY shows Bluey and Bandit holding ice creams literally bigger than them 💀 I hate my life. Probably because it is seen as a children's series so they decided to put less effort into it using older pieces with new prints.

The only critic you said that I can fairly understand is the m on the hat, but the rest, Mario is meant to be tiny

You cant say that for the signature M on his hat, I mean the  original Lego Mario is almost as small as the Super Mario 64 one.

It is still a nice display piece and at a distance most of those would be unrecognisable or just look bad. They must have had a reason to design it that way, by using his most prominent features that would actually look good on 3 pieces. I doubt that the representation of Mario in this set is larger than a fingernail.

They are nowhere near the same size. Lego probably can't print on the side of the rounded bits anyway.
