What Mario Kart game has the best music?

I think Wii. Toads Factory, Coconut Mall, and Mushroom Gorge are certified bangers. DK Summit, Moonview Highway, Dry Dry Ruins, Rainbow Road, and Bowsers Castle all fit their tracks really well. The rest are almost perfect as well, the only song in the game that’s so-so to me is Moo Moo Meadows.

8 Deluxe. It has just about every song worth listening too, & even the bad ones sound better than they used to(Toad Turnpike, Dry Dry Desert, etc.) Add in the Booster Course Pass & you have an almost perfect OST. There are a couple good ones missing though(Choco Island, Koopa Troopa Beach, 64 Sherbet Land, Shy Guy Beach, Lakeside Park, GBA Bowser Castle, YOSHI DESERT, GCN Rainbow Road, Airship Fortress, Luigi's Mansion, Delfino Square, Toad's Factory, Dry Dry Ruins, Daisy Hills, Cheep Cheep Lagoon, Shy Guy Bazaar, Wario Shipyard, 3DS Bowser Castle & Piranha Plant Pipeline) but as a whole it's definitely far and away the best. I'd give 7 second place; it has most of the ups with less downs than Wii, & obviously some of Wii's best music(also a lot of the retro songs are ported over from Wii, so it's not even close because it's the same songs & then some)

In terms of generally I would say 8DX. I was just talking nitros, should’ve clarified that. Wii still has the best music if we are talking nitros, DS comes close, F8C/MC, Desert Hills, Bowser Castle, and of course Waluigi Pinball are bangers.

Fair point. I still think I'd like 3DS over Wii, but they're all pretty good (except 64)

MK64: Rainbow Road
MKSC: Sky Garden
MKDD: Rainbow Road
MKDS: Wario Stadium/Waluigi Pinball
MKW: Coconut Mall😏
MK7: Toad Circuit (needs some love)
MK8: Mount Wario
MKT: Berlin Byways (because the music😎, also BCP version sounds like it came from MRD for some reason)
BCP (idk what original one to choose so I'm doing a rehash one): 3DS Rainbow Road (because it also sounds like a MRD song and sounds so much better than the original in a whole new level)

Not a full game, but enough content for one. The BCP has probably the most banger songs in the whole series. I genuinely can't think of any bad songs. And there were some that weren't all that good in their original games, but were given a huge upgrade in the BCP.
Also, I know this isn't canon, but Arcade GP DX also has come great music. If you want a full game of mostly upbeat techno vibes, give it a listen. The Final Lap songs also have slight changes from their regular counterparts, (or a new song entirely in the case of Bon Dance Street,) which I weirdly like.

I really think Mario Kart Wii has the best music, with some great and really popular track themes, like Luigi/Mario Circuit, Daisy Circuit, DK Summit, and of course Coconut Mall.
