What type of characters, levels,D.L.Cs, Amiibo, karts would be needed to make a good new Mario kart game? (do not say Mario kart 9 is the next, tour was the 9th.)

The only thing 10 needs is a good gimmick. Normal Mario Kart has officially peaked with 96 tracks. It's time for the 3D Pokemon phase of Mario Kart.
