Hey guys name some mario kart tracks that YOU feel like were ruined or was downgraded in mario kart.the ruined track is koopa cape. Yes the layout looks nice but they forgot the lasers.

tbh i think Coconut Mall got ruined in Tour and the BCP
also imo GBA Sky Garden and Sunset Wilds in the BCP are good (you can't change my opinion)

it's not a big problem, idc that the sunset wasn't re-added because it's still Sunset Wilds either way

well it's still set in sunset because, ya know, the sun. but hey, ya never know, the sun could just be going down very slowly to the point we don't notice it
did you know that it's exactly how it works in real life, you just need to go outside at the end of the day and watch the sky

Nah but GCN tracks in MKDS are terrible, for a simple reason : DS is a cool game, but a less goofy one, a safer one, so it deletes every goofy/fun gimmick that made MKDD a good game despite its awful controls. Most of the shortcuts failed to be kept ; on that point, fans clearly do a better job. And since I'm a passionate when it comes to secret passages ? A fail.
Also that orange rock trend is so ughhh and it probably made every remake that had it much worse visually.

So i have to agree that Coconut Mall, Koopa Cape, Sky Garden and especially Sunset Wilds.
Coconut Mall: The escalators are not even escelators anymore, the cars are lame and most importandly: The ¨Have a nice day¨ sign is gone

Koopa Cape: It is somehow worse then the MK7 version! The pipe is still a underwater section, and the lasers are not there.
Sky Garden: The track is just a random track with the ¨Sky Garden¨ textures.
Sunset Wilds: THE SUN DOES NOT SET!

Sky Garden was Ruined. It has a Completely Different Shape than the GBA and DS Version.

It's not about layout simplicity. Due to the limitations of the GBA they had to make the bare tracks fun. So they used squiggly layouts with a lot of little turns that would look horrendous in a realistic, modern MK game. Sky Garden and Sunset Wilds are boring. Not even talking about the layout and the sunset, but the other GBA tracks had huge glowups so both look pretty tame tbh.
