New Years Resolutions are stupid, there is no set time to reflect on who you are and what you might improve in your actions or even in you, as a person. Evolving as an individual and growing up from your mistakes is something you can do at any time, not only on January 1st to "start off the year".
Also most of the time these resolutions don't even last more than 10 days, so I'd rather become a better person, one day at a time, like PrimeTime said

I'm a Fire Alarm Enthusiast. I Collect Them. They Only Go Off If I Give Them Power, Such as a 9 Volt Battery, 2 9 Volt Batteries, 3 9 Volt Batteries, or If I Wire them up to a Pull Station.
