Decided to do this because I'm listening to several different genres at one given time currently ._.'
Anyway let's get started on Part 1
Pop
This REALLY depends on the year at which the songs are released... I'm admittedly a bit of a Swiftie so I'm fine with a bit of Pop, but it's admittedly not my favorite genre, 3.75/5
Rock
So for Rock and Metal I'm rating them differently lol, let's start with Rock: I'm a HUGE punk. Like, literally, from the age of 9 or so I was OBSESSED (and I still am) with Paramore, Flyleaf, ONE OK ROCK, Crush 40 and Call Atlantis. There's something about love songs etc. played on heavier instruments that resonates heavily with me lol, 4.5/5
Metal
Rock dealing with heavier topics and even heavier instruments? Bliss. I've only recently became a metalhead, and I love so many metal bands, like VIOLENT VIRA, Metallica, Motörhead, etc. I don't even know why I like this kinda music because I'm generally a calm person lol, 4.25/5
Folk/Country
I don't know why but I'm not a Folk or a Country fan (kinda stupid because I'm from rural Ireland lol). There's something majorly off about Southern US/Celtic singers singing about the most menial things such as boxes or gambling tbh, just boring, 2/5
K-pop
Korean pop? I'm already a Swiftie, so may as well try it out right? Right indeed. Seriously, the success of some of these bands are phenomenal, BTS (ignoring recent years of course), BLACKPINK, Twice, StayC, etc., jeez it's just amazing, 4.5/5
Enka
If you don't know what this is, it's basically traditional Japanese music but it has electronic music in too. I love this even more than K-pop tbh, and Wagakki is too good, like what the hell, first full 5/5 from me.

1. Pop - Some bands/singers are very hit or miss, but in general this is a great genre with plenty of good content and it deserves the top spot. 4.5/5
2. Metal - Kinda new to this but already I love it. Some is pretty dirty and I avoid it like the plague but there's still very good stuff here. In fact I put the lyrics of an entire song by Sabaton in my profile... Sabaton is cool. They do a sort of ballad-but-metal thing that's just perfect

3. (Almost) Anything with chanting - I just love chanting. It's just a thing I do! While it's not really a genre chants make good mood music (for me) and some are really awesome. 4/5
4. Orchestra - It deserves respect. Plus this includes some really good themes from movie songs. Nice to listen to when you don't want to be distracted by beat or lyrics. 4/5
5. Rock - yah there's some good stuff here.
6. Country - Some of these are ok, but in general it's not my style (sorry mom).
7. K-pop - Invu forgive me, I listened to just a little bit of this, and unleashed exterminatus on a previously-unknown planet on the eastern fringe... maybe it was just the band? Dunno. In any case I never returned to find out. It was... just not my thing.
Odd that pop and k-pop should be on opposite ends of this list. Perhaps reanalysis is needed. Anyways that's it for now. These are not firmly locked-in-place rankings but most are pretty close. Hope you enjoyed reading!

Eurobeat
I literally have 3 Super Eurobeat Mixes on my playlist, if that doesn't show you how much I like Eurobeat I don't know what does, 5/5
Throat singing

- Pop - 3.5/5 - really hit or miss here and it really depends on when the song was released -- 80s pop is much better than the annoying pop that comes out nowadays
- Rock - 4/5 - one of my personal favorites, there are some pretty good rock bands, 90s rock is the best imo
- Metal - 2/5 - it's just people screaming over electric guitars, pretty boring. i used to like it though
- Modern Rap - 1/5 - probably one of the most annoying genres of all time for me. there's barely any rhythm. it's just someone talking over a repetitive beat i don't understand how anyone can enjoy listening to this
- 90s style rap - 3/5 - not bad, at least it has a rhythm
- Breakbeat - 5/5 -waterflame idk why I like this genre, it just doesn't seem like something I would enjoy but the rhythm just seems to make me want to dance

Honestly I dont think half of y'all have listened to Kanye West before and I get it what he said was really fucked up and I know he needs help but his albums especially MBDTF (For those who dont know what that is go search it up on YouTube) Which was A comeback album but I would rather start with his first ever Album "The College Dropout" it has great songs (with through the wire being my favorite of the album) its a great starter for what is to come

1. You're free to dislike it
2. I am just not a fan of people who constantly make fun of it without understanding it but I love actual criticism + a lot of songs suck (especially the ones trending like 3D)
3. You put pop at the top so I forgive
4. You didn't put rap at the top
