No, it's not illegal, I don't think. I've seen plenty of YouTubers upload footage, especially MarioPower55.

Just download IMovie or smth, ik this isn't the best option but you could record footage off of a mobile device linked to your PC, send it to the PC, edit it in IMovie (or whatever ur using) and post it on YouTube. Yes ik it's not the best method but it's the only one I know how to do lol
