1. Mario Kart 8 and Deluxe are mid aside from having insane maps.
2. Nintendo's older mario karts(pre Mario kart 7) except super circuit and snes are better than the modern mario karts
3. Mario Kart Wii's thundercloud isn't the worst, just poorly executed
4. Waluigi Spear is better than the dumb Funky Flamer spam and the Daisy Mach Bike spam
5. What the fuck is wrong with the meta for mario kart 8 deluxe it's literally heavy badass characters Wario, Waluigi, Bowser, and Dry Bowser riding baby vehicles.
6. DK Jungle Parkway sucks in Mario Kart Wii only known for that huge ass jump
7. Mario Kart PC should import all of hoppingicon's maps
8. Nerf the daisy in MKPC she is too cracked

Nintendo should drop hybrid consoles and go back to releasing a handheld and home console at the same time, and one of the next consoles should not be a Switch 2, as all previous sequel consoles sold worse than the originals.

Sounds like a nice idea, but most external sources say it's probably gonna be another hybrid console...

1. Double Dash, DS and Wii are better than 7 & 8
2. MK64 is the worst Mario Kart ever
3. 3D Land is better than 3D World
4. Odyssey is mid
5. MKPC is better than all official MK games due to the track editor alone
6. MP9 is a good game
7. MP10's Bowser Party mode was a great idea, just with a terrible execution
8. The Wii U was a flawed console with a terrible execution overall (bad name choice, bad marketing, NAND problems, etc.) BUT in terms of concept idea it was way better than the Switch
9. SSB4 should have never been released on the 3DS
10. MKDS is better than MK7 due to the presence of mission mode and single-player VS mode alone

i couldn't agree more with this. because of the 3ds the ice climbers had to be removed to have both games have the same exact roster

If it stayed on the Wii U, we could've had more stages, more game modes (since I assume the 3DS-exclusive stages and game modes would've been present in the Wii U version in that scenario) and more playable characters (Ice Climbers obviously included)

Some of my hot takes:

COD MW2019 is my favourite COD game and it’s not even because of the movement. (I literally can’t slide cancel, I just jump instead 💀) I really like the gunplay in the game and the gun choice was good. The campaign was pretty good, not the best I’ve played but definitely better than MW2(2022). The spec ops mode was pretty mid except for one thing that I loved which was survival mode. It’s similar to zombies in the way that you must survive infinite waves of enemies but it is a lot more rudimentary, cuz no Easter eggs, perks, pack a punch, ect. But if I’d still a lot of fun, finding a good camping spot and seeing how long you can last is a lot of fun. This Isn’t a hot take because the games bad, most people like the game. It’s a hot take because I’m saying it’s better then BO2 and MWII, which are both legendary games that I was to young to experience the prime of, and if I played them not it wouldn’t be the same.

2.  I’m not really a fan of GTA V. This might be a little unfair, because I haven’t played the full story mode since my progress got overwrited and I didn’t want to restart. But from the good amount of hours I played on the online with my friend, I can safely say that is grindy, boring and nearly impossible to get cool stuff sinces it’s so expensive. Now I know a lot of people feel this way about  the online so it’s probably not hot take, But a lot of people really enjoyed the story mode and from when I played I wasn’t really enjoying it that much to be honest. I mean I didn’t even wanna restart after the progress got deleted, I just started playing other things.

3. I don’t care about the ace attorney chronicles. It seems like most people who play the ace attorney games really enjoy the chronicles, which are sort of spinoff of the original games about the ancestor of Phoenix Wright. Although I haven’t played them nothing I’ve seen about them really interests me.

I agree with this 100%, the switch is really cool but there’s just something special about full handheld consoles. I’m pretty sure they’re gonna make a switch 2 but I don’t know what the new gimmick will be cuz it being a hybrid won’t be new anymore. Also they are gonna need to make a new handheld eventually unless every console is a hybrid for now on out, which would be stupid. So it would be better to not make a switch 2 and make something original, because as you said it has a high chance of underperforming  (when compared to the original)

about 8. - I want to say "skill issue" but since 50% of the forum would kill me I'll just say that if we nerf her we would have to reset tt records and to learn new ways to play, also many people know rd now, and ik it's supposed to be an hot take but yes I heavily disagree on that one

In my opinion, the best solution would be to keep Daisy's stats but buff all other playable characters, however it would be risky since it would have the potential to ruin the current metagame by making Daisy less advantageous and making all time trial records useless (shouldn't happen if the rebalancing is done correctly but still an existing risk)...


LT8 started a metagame project a long time ago with other members in order to think about how to rebalance the roster and give a chance to all characters but it sadly looks like it got discontinued since I haven't heard any news from it since years
