I personally think Wave 5 is the best wave yet. Wave 2 had better tracks on average imo, but 5 introduced two new characters. Plus, Daisy Cruiser and Koopa Cape were the two tracks remaining I really wanted in 8 Deluxe and here they are. Not disappointed at all about Moonview Highway either, excited for that. I haven't played any of these cities in Tour but all three and Squeaky Clean Sprint seem to have a lot of potential (plus I live in Vancouver lol). And Sunset Wilds, while having a much more boring layout, has its background gimmick of changing on each lap, which I think will look insane in MK8DX. Plus, Wiggler was a great pick imo bc now we can have a Wiggler riding a Wiggler. I don't really care about Petey Piranha but Kamek was a great choice too. My only complaint is that I wanted Monty Mole, and it didn't happen. Otherwise, perfect wave, really makes me excited for Wave 6 later this year

Anyway, Madrid wouldn't be centered around ruins like Athens & Rome, it'd atleast have it's own charm.
Even then, Athens is hardly Athens at all, it's just the one most recognizable landmark & anything that just happens to be in the surrounding area.

Yes, but it HAS ruins, which is still overlap. And besides the ruins, it's really just better Paris, which is lame.
