The band Credence Clearwater Revival lasted just slightly shorter. The band only existed between 1968 and 1972. They’ve sold 28 million records in the U.S alone. They also hold the record of most #2 hits without ever reaching a #1 hit. Some of my favourite CCR songs include, Travellin’ Band, Bad Moon Rising, Fortunate Son and Have You Ever Seen The Rain.
