Technically speaking, this track is actually from nowhere. It's a shrunk down reconstruct. It's just themed to look like Yoshi's Island. Same for all the tracks, the courses themselves are still in the Mario World.
Wow, I don't understand your point at all. Are you talking about the models, the theming, the __cpLocation?
This track isn't the actual Yoshi's Island. Saying it's from Yoshi's Island-the game-is factually incorrect. It's a race reconstruct, but not the actual place. Same for all the other non-Mario tracks: they aren't real locations, just based on them.

Following TheOuchy1's topic, a shortcut has been made possible with an invisible wall fix : in 200cc you can use Whomps to jump over the fence and cut over the river.
