Damn I wasn't talking about the disorder I was talking about the behavior... I think you took the joke too badly tbh, it shouldn't have gone that far. Plus why did uou tell me that in such a dramatic way ? Did I offense you by saying you were borderline while apparently you have a borderline disorder ? Let's not get into those things too deeply, mental disorders are more complicated than we all thought and its okay to not understand anything or not everything about it we should go back to the topic, am I wrong ?
You are right, I did take that a bit too harshly. I'll get this topic back on its feet though:
I confess that I hate the UK healthcare system.
Don't get me started on the BMI chart. It's a pathetic excuse to fatshame and belittle patients. What's worse is they even get taught to do that in medical school apparently...
Then the doctors themselves. They just tell you to take paracetamol/ibuprofen for actual symptoms of a BLOOD CLOT (that happened to both my mom and my cousin once 😢). They even told me to take ASPIRIN for sleep paralysis (aspirin is literally for 16+, it says on the box -- I'm 14. Do they want to make me even more ill or something? Also can they, like, not give me something like an antidepressant? But noooooo, that's too much, isn't it doctor?)
Then the psychiatrists. These bozos, man... For starters, they can't even diagnose someone properly without writing down a shit ton of bullshit and blaming all their problems on the patient, so the patient has no useful medication prescribed and like every mental complication possible 💀
My cousin even told me that the midwife thought we were Chinese when we were born. Looking back at the baby photos, we didn't even look remotely Chinese. My grandmother even says the midwife reeked of alcohol and crack -- wouldn't surprise me.
So yeah, now you know why I have so many problems with seeing a doctor. Thank you for taking the time to read my essay.
Why did your cousin have to go there?
She never actually told me, it's probably something she's either ashamed of or it's just really personal.

I have a runny nose and I didn’t eat anything other than cereal and a unfinished Snickers bar, + burgers. It was before I took the Ferry, should I be worried?

As someone who actually lives on a boat, no. It's probably just seasickness. If it persists though, start panicking and get medical help (weird how I say that but I have animosity against doctors).

I went off the Ferry hours ago.

I don’t have allergies. If it’s not about that, then nope I have not inhaled dust or pollen.

Probably just fever... unless you were bitten by a mosquito... in which case you better get to a doctor because if it's a mosquito bite you've probably got malaria or yellow fever.

So what would you rather American healthcare where you have to spend all your money just to cure a minor disease? Also, from what it sounds, the BMI chart is actually quite useful. Being overweight can lead into a lot of problems, so have a chart which lets you compare stuff to their weight sounds quite good. As for the other stuff, I don’t know much about them, but overall it just sounds like you’re really unlucky with the health care here, since you’re the only person I’ve heard say something bad about it, outside of people saying the processes can be quite painful
Fatshaming your patients isn't gonna help. As a person who suffered of that, even if I am not that overweight right now (my weight is growing but my height too so the balance is kept) it just creates an unhealthy environment between your patients and yourself. A doctor isn't just here to do their thing and job, they're supposed to help patients take care of their health. Fatshaming damages your mental health, and if your mental health is damaged, it will also damage your physical health and it will end up as a vicious circle. Advice is always good, but a toxic environment with your doctors if they're rude can create some rejection towards them, which won't help since you won't feel like listening to them, but they're the one taking care of you.

Well it depends on how they use it. Sometimes it could be useful if they a health problem due to weight, so they can tell the patient that they need to lose weight. It's only if they use it on you, and it has nothing to do with your health problem that it is a problem
