Improve Yoshi's sprites, please??

Fix his sprites.
I've kept an eye on MKPC for way too long, especially when it comes to the quality of character sprites, official and custom!
And I cannot believe how butchered Yoshi's sprites got for no reason in-between updates, going from the original SMK sprites (which I kind of implemented into the game, no bias here), to what I've labeled as MKPC in the image, so much so that I've personally tried not once, but TWICE (back in 2020!) to provide a better alternative to MKPC Yoshi.
The problem with these set of sprites is that it commits 2 pixel-art issues that I've grown to just despise from experience. You may be asking what these two are, and these are Pillowshading, and Banding.
I should make two examples of these issues.
Most of you wouldn't be able to see the issues, but... PLEASE AVOID THESE SPRITING MISTAKES, because MAN, do these hurt to look at after making sprites, learning and using techniques to improve for as long as I have, and seeing these issues in MKPC Yoshi's sprites? This is not a good feeling... at all!
What's worse is when you add in the fact that MKPC Yoshi is using way too many shades and applying too much Banding and Pillowshading, on a set of sprites that is way too small for these problems to be hard to see.
So I decided enough is enough, and made some edits (again) to the MKPC Yoshi sprites so that they're closer to SMK's quality and appearance, but keeping Yoshi's mouth closed to keep consistency to MKPC's sprites, where his mouth is always closed.
(I also do not mean to bash on the original creator of the SMK edit used for MKPC, but when they're in the base game, these mistakes are too notorious for me to avoid noticing them, and it kind of hurts me to see how these were kept in for longer than they should have.)
My Yoshi sprites will be here in case anyone wants to try them as a custom character, or if the developers are willing to replace the current Yoshi's -frankly hideous- look:
Also, heck, I wouldn't mind if MKPC Yoshi's sprites got reverted back to their original, opened mouth, SMK sprites, like they were before the drifting got changed. Just... do anything to get rid of this filth! I HATE THIS.

And before anyone asks: No, Pillowshading and Banding are things you do NOT want to have in your sprites.

After talking about it so much on the Discord, he makes it a topic XD
More seriously, I had no problem with the current sprite, but the edit is really cool

Can you blame me though? I mean, I've been making sprites trying to make sure they looked good
but the edit is really cool
(also, you're proving me right, you know)

I was joking
Otherwise it's just that I'm having trouble taking a step back on that, moreover I just remembered that the only character I shared, he wasn't even mine 😓, btw it's was your Scratch Cat (I can delete it if necessary)
It's true that your edit you did well, go mention @Wargor

further proving my point LMAO

I do agree your version of the Yoshi sprites looks much better, you can't tell me it doesn't have a higher quality!
I support this update request!

I support the update, but really, your way of saying it was absolutely terrible. Man. You just made a cleaner edit, the original was perfectly fine and you're acting like if they replaced Yoshi's sprites with Baldi's. Your edit is cleaner but it doesn't change much. Also, this is just a very minor spriting """"error"""" and surely not the drama you make it to be. Look at that instead Bowser sprite. EVERYONE bashed it, but it was truly different. While this, this is just ridiculous. You're having a crisis over
a minor sprite flaw, you're not even asking it you're almost saying it like if it was due. You're saying you despise it, man, you're saying it like if it even hurted your eyes. I'm sorry, the edit us cleaner but you need to calm down.

Don't worry, I am perfectly aware of how angrily I worded that!
However,
Bowser's sprites only got a palette swap. which is nothing compared a rework with questionable quality. How is that even somewhat worse than Yoshi? The only thing those have in common is replacing the SNES originals for some disclosed reason.
Which means I got the point across as I perfectly expected to! :^) Seeing how you probably missed the point as to why I despise Yoshi's ""minor"" sprite change, which is VERY EASY to see, mind you, while I have around 3 years of spriting experience (in larger sizes than MKPC, no less), there's no point in sugarcoating how I seriously feel about Yoshi here with what I've learned as evidence, after all!
But, oh well, it's absolutely not like I expected people with less observant, more casual eyes like you to show up to disagree. How about YOU have your take on Yoshi and see if you can make him look any better? I'm waiting. I'm only hoping for MKPC to look more visually appealing to people with advanced spriting experience, and, in a not so angry summary, Yoshi is a perfect example of how NOT to sprite. Where's the problem with improving his sprites.

I agree, your edit was cleaner. I'm certainly not a pro in spriting and I'm aware of that. I never said I was. You're almost mocking me at this point "which is VERY EASY to see". Wow bud, I need to get glasses. No, it's still better in your version, but it's very minor and I said I supported the update, but the way you worded it was ridiculous to me.
Keep in mind I stated an opinion, not a fact. "less observant, more casual eyes". I'd suggest you stop talking about my eyes while you don't even know anything about them. I have good eyes, but I'm not pro in spriting.
Some poeple will have extremely good eyes, yet they can't tell those type of things. So now mind your eyes and let mine alone. I didn't said there was any problem to improve his sprites, I tsaid there was a problem with your reaction.

Alright, alright, I'll admit I exaggerated because remembering MKPC Yoshi made me pretty upset, My apologies.

MKPC Yoshi is too dark because of the fudged up shading
On 2022-10-23 at 02:58:54
I support this update, your sprites look better than both the current MKPC sprites and the SMK sprites
In my opinion, your sprites > SMK sprites > current MKPC sprites
In my opinion, your sprites > SMK sprites > current MKPC sprites
