Build contest!

This is a topic where I will be rating your builds 1/30! This isn’t a track building contest, but rather a Minecraft building contest. Hey, wait, don’t leave! I know a lot of you don’t have Minecraft, so instead you have other options to choose from!

https://eaglercraft.com I sent the direct link to the game because there are a lot of copies that are actually viruses, and use any version you want idc, but do NOT download anything on that site because once I tried to download something and it said windows protected your pc, so I used a diff one and it said the same thing so don’t download anything, just use the regular version.
And you can use the actual Minecraft also.


You are supposed to build something related to the theme, and if its a massive build you can send it on a video hosting site instead of a normal image site.
You can use any video hosting/image hosting site as long as it doesn’t crash my old iPad xD

You have one week to create the build. This week’s theme is: Tropical

Also this is a very fun and creative idea

Nice little humble palm tree. I like the design, but I feel like you could have added a bit more to it, like expanding the sand to make a nice little island. You could have made the wood a bit thicker, like one layer more. I’m giving this a 7/30, (constructive criticism) I feel like you should have done more, I liked it, but it definitely needs more detail. I feel like the small sand island definitely should had been bigger, instead of a extremely small sand island in the middle of the ocean with a random tree on it. But if you really wanted to leave it small, you should probably added a chest on the side, you know those images or maybe moments on cartoons/shows where it’s a small island just as small as the one you built with like the sameness tree that you built, with a random treasure chest, so you probably should have added a chest at the side. You’ll get better in no time at all, don’t worry, it’s not terrible, it just needs more effort, that’s all.

Oh that's ok ^^ I didn't play Minecraft since January or December so that's reasonable also my phone runs on 2 fps (I'm being carcastic) when I open up the inventory

I have minecraft on my nintendo switch but are we allowed to use any building mods for the builds?

is there specific criteria of 1-30 points (e.g. block palette, scale, creativity, etc.)  or is it just general build quality?

There’s are lots of specific things like effort, small details to add to the build, quality, thickness, such as layers of blocks, don’t want builds to be too skinny yk. and yeah also general build quality too, there's more stuff I go over but I don’t feel like typing it out rn

For those who actually have Minecraft I suggest using Some More Blocks, which is a add on which adds, some more blocks to make builds, Minecraft has lots of blocks but not so much at the same time so I highly suggest using that add on to make builds.
