What is Mario Kart PC?

Yes this is a crazy question coming from someone who has been here since 2022.

But seriously..

What the fuck is this!?

Most of the time on this website for a lot of people is on the forums instead of actually playing the game and it feels like there is a drama that goes on every week.

What happened to discovering this website in a computer science class when it was unblocked and going home after school, rushing to get your homework finished, so you can see what more this game has to offer?

Personally, I do both, do the time trials and the forums

i was trying to find some cool online mario kart games about august this year so i could do some tting and yeah i found out the rankings and i have been climbing the rankings (about 3 months ago i was not even top 40 wwtt 200cc and now im 8th)

Normal, it's math class, we're not supposed to play

i discovered this website through probably one of the most common ways: seeing a YT vid about it
the one i watched was a MarioPower55 video showcasing MKT tracks recreated in different MK games, which one of them was London Loop 1 recreated in MKPC

It was a really shitty QM Track, the same way I found this website

thats when i first acknowledged MKPC LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG ago, back in... 2020?

i didnt join it when i first heard about it, which was stupid, since i could have had more fun back then, but when i actually started using MKPC was:

the day after i got my first ever Discord account banned, i was bored, and didnt know what to do. then, i looked at my drawing of Pikmin racing in Wii U/Switch Excitebike Arena, and wanted to remake it in digital art form, so i google searched for a good reference image of the track in question, then i found Wal68's Excitebike arena, then i was curious, so i went there, and when i raced my first ever game, i was very confused, but after that, that was when i started using MKPC

we were having free time

That's no reason, we don't play at school

Not sure why this has become a discussion of how we found MKPC, but ill share that I found it through rewatching F3 2020. The game looks so much worse in that trailer I swear

I think the forums just offer an easy way to get some variety, so they get more attention. And since there's so few people online most of the day the competitive scene is lame 😞. Making tracks and challenges is a lot of work, so people fill up the time in between their publications talking. Not a great situation (so much useless drama!) but hard to avoid.
