They have removed the message counter from the MKPC forum (the forum message leaderboard).

You heard that right: I don't know exactly when, but they removed the option to see how many messages you've posted on the forum (as well as the rank system, which used to feature Super Mario characters). Obviously, this was done to cut down on spam within the forum. Personally, I am 100% in agreement with the decision to remove it—I would have done the same thing myself. Oh, and I almost forgot: they also removed the section at the bottom of the main forum page that used to display the "Most Active Member of the Month" and the "Most Active User in Forum History" (which was *invu*). Anyway, what do *you* think about this change? Do you like it, or not?

To clear up confusion, this has not rolled out to everyone yet. It's currently active for about 50% of users. New accounts can't see it.

This update was made to prevent forum spammers and raise activity for the game itself. Most people only come on this website to talk all day instead of playing.
When Wargor first made the site, the forum was a way to create a community around his game! But it had taken a bad turn once people started spamming instead of playing.
