Hey everyone, I was scrolling on tiktok the other day and I came across this NEW mario kart with mario kart 8 graphics, all karts, characters. I think this may be way better than MKPC and also it has online mode too! Check it out it's amazing if you dont have a switch like me.

I've played it for several times by now but I think it needs some work, not a bad start but the physics can feel eccentric at times and using items to stop while it's in roulette has a bug.

One of the problems I had; there are some AFK host players that wouldn't want to start the race at times, but I believe it was updated today to solve the problem, perhaps?

It's getting there and it really is in some sort of very early state.

It's okay I guess but there are a few flaws:

1) the glider physics absolutely suck and that's not debatable

2) more than half of every online lobby consists of players who are either on devices that can't comfortably run the game and get massive lag starts, or people that are just plain AFK. The first time I played, I got free 1st despite not knowing how to drift or use items and also falling off the track multiple times on lap 1 because I wasn't used to the physics. The other time I played, I ended up nearly a full lap ahead of 2nd on bWP, which, mind you, is not a small track.

3) it also lacks time trials for some reason, the only gamemode that actually be somewhat interesting to play considering how bad the CPUs are

It's needless for me to say that I do not prefer it over MKPC and likely never will

I'm pretty sure it might potentially believed to be vibe coded this whole time or not... If it really was vibe coded in the first place, then it's not even that surprising at all.



Yup, the game aged like milk. I don't prefer it over MKPC neither.
