Kirby Air Riders

Just yesterday, as of Nov 21, 2025 Kirby Air Riders released. It looks like a really cool game! The story is neat, the ending was pretty sad, the city mode seems cool and there is a lot of content. The tracks are short and sweet, I like that you can make your own vehicles. People have created some really cool and really insane vehicles. R.I.P to all Bikini Chef Kawasaki vehicles and the challenges seem neat. and overall this seems like a really cool game nontheless.

The game was revealed on the April 2nd Nintendo Switch 2 direct, It didn't show much but it looked pretty cool. Then on the August 19th direct we saw much more stuff of the game. Same with the October 23 direct.

Kirby Air Riders seems like a really fun game, hopefully I can get my hands on this and the Switch 2 for Christmas. Is it better then Mario Kart World and Sonic Racing? Maybe. This game is still very new and I still need to figure out my final thoughts.
                                  The Story

The story starts when a inorganic lifeform named Zorah lands in  Plant Popstar as It stays there for years and centries unconscious. But It wanted one wish. To roam around the world freely. The wish went to Nova and inside many robots was making machines/air riders to help Zorah's wish come true. Then Nova releases them to Planet Popstar. Once they were found, many people found and touched the vehicles and people started using the vehicles as close partners as people used them for travel, and events. But Nova was not done with Zorah's wish as ships with worker drones fall from the sky and fall to where Zorah is. The drones ripped into Zorah to take out Zorah's heart out. Then the drones build something very huge named Gigantes. Gigantus was built as a weapon to destroy all life in Planet Popstar. Then Nova creates a signal to all vehicles around the world to return to their true origin. Many people in Popstar didn't get the signal and only few heard it. The riders who heard it went toward Gigantus. Meanwhile while the drones where decomposing Zorah, some of Zorah's will broke free as It copies Noir Dedede as Zorah's wish to freely roam the world comes true. It destroys many riders' vehicles one by one. As Kirby arrives to Gigantus, Kirby fights and defeats Gigantus as Zorah turns into dust after their wish comes true.


                                True Ending

As Kirby arrives, Gigantus destroys all of Kirby's vehicles. Zorah then releases to vehicles and Kirby chooses between the Dragoon or the Hydra and goes on to defeat Gigantus. As Gigantus is defeated the flames from the explosion creates Leo the Fire Lion. as Zorah combines the Dragoon and the Hydra to destroy Gigantes' eye to a path to Nova. Kirby and Leo go to the path while battling some bosses along the way. Once they reach to Nova they go to Nova's heart to destroy it. Once they destroy it a big cosmic explosion happens as Kirby and Leo fly back to Planet Popstar. Then Zorah goes back to its original form and flys off into the sky as Kirby and Leo leave in the distance.

Told you that story was smth ngl this is better than Mario Kart World as of me typing this Nov 24 but it has compition with Sonic Racing. Overall cool game, cool gimmicks, cool everything. (NEW OPINION) I like this more then Sonic Racing Crossworlds bc of the city trial, The vehicles, and the overall gameplay.
