Nintendo Direct (Late March - Early April)
Published on 2025-04-16 at 00:50:23
Note: This is on Nintendo News, and this news topic is a little late. If you have (hopefully) learned that a lot of things are coming to the Nintendo Switch, then you might know a lot about this. This is for mostly late March through early April. There are a lot of things for this Nintendo Direct, and a LOT of people are excited.
You see, this is a little complex, and these are called virtual game cards. It is like a game card, an actual one, but it is like a digital game. You can buy a game off the Nintendo E-Shop, but give it to other people. When you give it to other people, they will have the game until a 14 day limit. It is like giving a game card to your cousin, and Nintendo also added a feature where you can share the game cards with your family, if they had a Nintendo Account on their Nintendo Switch. It sounds kind of weird of the fact there are 2 games that you have are game cards and both have the filled in game card symbol, because the Nintendo Switch has only one game card slot, which might be a little questionable... Anyways, this feature is said to launch on the Nintendo Switch on April. If you want to see the trailer or how these work, here is the trailer:
These are for the Pokémon nerds, so I'll put this in a spoiler.
This was said to be a rythem game made from Japanese songs that is also a new Rythem Heaven game. Even though I never played Rythem Heaven games before, it looks really cool. Here is a good summary of the game: At first, it is like a game where you go through hoops as a dot with no rythem, but when more dots come, and they create a rythem, making it a lot easier. This game is said to launch on the Nintendo Switch on 2026. This is a trailer just in case you want to know more:
This was the last thing on the Nintendo Direct on Youtube, so I'll be featuring this last. Nintendo Today is an app, which has a calender feature telling you events or special days to celebrate Nintendo's games. For example, Nintendo Today will tell you the day and special events for a video game. I also saw here that Nintendo Today could have special backgrounds on your phone. I also saw it could tell you the date of the day of that day on your home screen.

Pokémon Legends: Z-A
These are for the Pokémon nerds, so I'll put this in a spoiler.
Pokémon Legends: Z-A is an all new Pokémon Legends game that looks more into the future than Pokémon Legends: Arceus. The starter Pokémon for this game are Chikorita, Tepig, and Totodile. There is an obvious
reference to Pokémon X and Y, because the whole game is in Lumiose City. It looks like that Mega Evolutions are finally back after 7 years! I'll show the Mega Evolution Pokémon in this one, but I will show both in the same stack.
Anyways, it is said you can catch Pokémon freely in the Wild Zones. You can also find and catch wild Pokémon on top of buildings, too. At night though, you can find Pokémon Trainers that will try to battle you. This game is said to launch to the Switch in 2025, just 2025. Goodbye Pokémon nerds, because this is all I know.
