Brocky_system Yes, I know AI is still bad at playing video games and having a bunch of 6-year olds screaming at the top of their lungs at you isn't the greatest. Those were crappy arguments. What I'm saying is that it is still online multiplayer, just not like how it is in most games. But multiplayer doesn't really matter to me anyways since I like to play alone.

Although, tbf, this game has like no skill involved so it's gonna be far more straight forward for each party involved to communicate since there won't be any "sweaty" players.

Brocky_system Yes, but online multiplayer is kind of stupid. Nintendo doesn't have a proper on-console voice chat, leaving nothing but the noise of the game itself. As far as you can tell, you're playing against some AI. Having someone cursing at you over the match is better than no response.

Brocky_system I don't give a thing about the online as its behind a subscription; I'm more interested in the 12 characters. Besides, the online mode is going lag like crazy either way. If you are so whiny about about the online multiplayer, look for a different game.

The slippery driving of Mario Kart : Double Dash !! is horrible, but the beautiful 3D models and the imaginative tracks made me like this game.

I was joking by the way.
A single animation does not stop the game from "sucking" the content within the game is what would. And so far, it looks too easy, & it's a Mario game, so right now, yes, it sucks. They'll fix that next direct I'm sure.
Also the older games didn't really have a story, they needed something because it was mandatory. A game like this is going to have some more story to it, you can tell just by looking at it. They've done it in 3D World lol. It's not like it's the first time or something, that still doesn't mean much in the end.
People said all that about Star Allies btw. You know how that went down until it was saved by DLC.
Respectfully, that amounts to absolutely nothing.

Reynbow68 Super Mario Bros. Wonder can’t suck. Did you just saw all the animations in the trailers ?
In the NSMB games, is there a special animation of when your enter a pipe ? And when you get out of the pipe ? I don’t think so !
Btw, the concept of saving Princess Peach and jump over things we already know since 1985/1988 is kinda outdated now.
But Super Mario Bros. Wonder is in a completely another world (like SMB2 and SML), so we can smell how these new things are fresh… Also we can see in the trailer that some (old) ennemies are in the game, as Goombas, weird Goombas (I can’t remember their name), Koopas and Bowser, or a Bowser looking like creature, but all the other creatures are new (Purple hippopotamus, light blue triceratops, talking flowers…)
I’m sure that the gameplay would be AWESOME (May should I say… Wonderful), with a lot of new things, and I wish that the next Super Mario game would look like that, with cool characters (That means no Rosalina, but no debate please)

StillTooKrazey Respectfully, it's quite outdated now. And a cakewalk, but that's normal. NSMB2 is better in every conceivable way, & actually has an extra challenge after completion. It was good for it's time, but 3 NSMB games later, it sucks.

StillTooKrazey I mean, collecting coins and one ups still exist, but since you can't get a 1-UP from the top of the flagpole, it stands to reason you can't get one from killing enemies either.

The idea of "Lives" is kinda considered outdated, especially in the Western countries. Odyssey didn't have them either. Nor Forgotten Land. The whole "Lives" thing is slowly phasing out: It's either 1 or infinite.

StillTooKrazey It's more unique. People who didn't want to ever play Kirby, get to play Kirby. It's genius, when you think about it.

And another thing: This game is CLEARLY following the 3D Mario Bros. formula: every level is gonna have a gimmick, pretty much to itself. It's the cross between 2D Bros. & 3D Bros., people are understandably hyped.

3D Bros. is 3D Land & 3D World(they have powerups, flagpoles, no triple jumping, timer etc.)

2 Yoshi wasn't included as playable for some reason
3, The Caps will ony be in a couple levels, think Propeller Boxes from Wii, it is very much NOT a from here on out.
4, it wasn't that the levels lacked life, it was that they made 3 games with the exact same styling and none of them were good. U was unique, and the best.
And 5, I cannot stress this one enough, Mario Wonder WON'T have Online Multiplayer. We seriously doing Return to Dreamland Deluxe again?????
