Allow reverse drift on mobile somehow
It's very much possible lol just harder, if I happen to be on mobile on an easy to drive track I'll legit just rd it
I agree the control layout could still be improved (though its way way better than it was a few years back)

Here are a few of my thoughts:
1. Something that would be cool would be to customize the items. No, I don't mean add new items, just be able to change it. (As in, make custom sprites and then change it to be a banana or smth)
2. It would be cool to add custom sound effects, like, for example, if you're making an MKDD Cup, you could change the item roulette sound, the star sound, and even the final lap sound, and many more!
3. I think would be awesome to have losing songs. Because when your character gets last place, it still plays the happy(or Dark) music you choose. Losing music would be a cool idea to have and for the already-made characters (Petey Piranha, Wario, etc.) it would be easy. For ex. Wario could have the Mario Land 2 Game Over music for his character, and Petey Piranha could have the Mario Sunshine Death Game Over, etc. I don't know, it just sounds like a cool idea.

I know the point is that the music is supposed to be retro music but it is getting so boring tbh Fanmade Remixes are better
may i recommend overriding the music yourself

I feel like it’s unfair that if I were to fall in a hole in Time Trial mode, then I lose my mushrooms. Is there a way to fix that?
??? That is a punishment for falling into the hole
Sure, but in official Mario Kart games, it doesn’t do that, and it’s unfair anyway because there’s already time lost, which is punishment enough.
“official Mario Kart games” only stops doing that after the release of MK8 I think
Correct and that's because in MK8 falling is seemingly supposed to have much less impact (instead of properly falling and fading to black lakitu just quickly shoves you back on the track) so it works there

This can actually work and I have something I would like to add on to this:
- Edit the properties of existing items for this custom made one
- Change sprites for the item roulette and how it looks in race
- Restricted to multi-cups only ofc
I feel like it’s unfair to restrict it to multicups only. I feel like just cups would be cool.
If you make a multicup involving cups that have different items from one another then it'd be confusing
It's like if you had a heart power up but you could only use it on 4 specific tracks. Imagine thinking of a strategy that you could use with it but you can't anyway because it's not in the same cup.
Wouldn't have to work like that, cups with different characters get overridden by the multicup's settings i think
I think there should be items for specific characters. like the best characters in the game right now will just have double or triple of base items but the worse ones like donkey kong wario bowser will get special ones like big shell banana cannon and coin stealer

That isn't gonna make them worth playing as lol, people will make daisy stat custom characters with the best item

dunno if it's been mentioned but something I've wished the game had for a while is a way to change the lap count above the normal amount in challenges, it's nice that you can reduce it but if you have a 3 lap track it caps there

Being able to access people's real accounts when they have names that aren't their username on their tracks (would be easy to tell who's stealing tracks unless they're a guest)
Something a little relevant to this that I want to mention is currently there's no way to find someone's profile on your own other than start a DM with them then click their name and I think that's way too difficult to figure out, has the added difficulty of what if I don't remember their username exactly and probably also unintentional. Being able to search for users would be nice.

forgot to post this yesterday but apparently all of the alts that @AT-ATgamer made were just pranks...?!
