Honestly, to pay back the space the game takes up, you have to play often enough and hang in there.
And take a weapon, YOUR weapon.
If you like competitive games, it's definitely worth it.

I know that in 1998, Sonic had a design change that is now Modern Sonic, but I'd like to know if it's canon. There was a comic book showcasing how Sonic could've got his green pupils, but most of the comic books aren't canon. This is why I don't talk about Modern Sonic that much. The Super Mario Bros. Movie's Mario Kart Scene uses a mix of Mario Kart Wii and Mario Kart Arcade GP DX as it's Mario Kart Wii's standard kart only with the blue being red... 
And Mario Kart Arcade GP DX, is because of the Mario Kart Wii-inspired design with red instead of blue.
