My favorite things are the Course Creator and the Community, like ToxTurtle101 said, but also the characters in the game. I'm not talking about custom characters, but rather I'm talking about the official characters. This game had Funky Kong and Petey Piranha, two characters that Nintendo, for some reason, doesn't put in any good Mario Kart games anymore. In addition, a lot of the other characters are good picks. Bowser Jr, Toadette, Diddy Kong, and Dry Bones are all also pretty cool. The only character I'd say is kind of a bad pick is Link. Because, I mean, there's several other characters they could have chosen before resorting to non-Mario characters. But other than that, the roster is really solid.

I'd say either Music Park/Melody Motorway or Wario's Shipyard/Galleon. Both are great tracks in terms of looks and play-ability. Music Park, or Melody Motorway, is all about Music. It uses multiple Musical things as different objects on the track to spice up gameplay (like the Tambourine being used like a Mushroom, and the Music Notes being like moving Thwomps). Wario's Shipyard/Galleon is a port with shipwrecks in it. I think. It's hard to tell, but the course design itself looks pretty cool. And the Music's a Bop too.

Okay so I decided to go find a tier list for the 8.1.0 patch, but I only found one and it puts top 5 as Pikachu, Joker, Palutena, Shulk and Peach/Daisy in that order. There you go.
OK, but that doesn't answer my original question. Where is Pac-Man on that tier list?

Snake's the best of the 3 and he's barely top 10.
Huh, really? I thought Pac-Man was higher.
I guess it's cause he has a high learning curve, and not many people play him at tournaments.
It's mainly because set-ups are all he's got. Everything else is below average other than recovery.
By the way, where is Pac-Man on the tier list? I don't know where to find the official tier list, and I can't check Smash Wiki because it's not on there...for some reason.

From personal experience, I would say Luigi, Pac-Man, and Snake. They're my 3 mains, and Luigi and Pac-Man can do some absolutely crazy combos (especially Pac-Man, I mean just look at this stuff:

I guess it's cause he has a high learning curve, and not many people play him at tournaments.
It's mainly because set-ups are all he's got. Everything else is below average other than recovery.
By the way, where is Pac-Man on the tier list? I don't know where to find the official tier list, and I can't check Smash Wiki because it's not on there...for some reason.

From personal experience, I would say Luigi, Pac-Man, and Snake. They're my 3 mains, and Luigi and Pac-Man can do some absolutely crazy combos (especially Pac-Man, I mean just look at this stuff:

I'm gonna say the Baby Girls. Baby Peach, Baby Daisy, and Baby Rosalina 1) have no reason to be in the game instead of Baby Wario or Baby DK, and 2) they're 10x more annoying than Baby Mario and Baby Luigi.

But seriously, Koopa Cape's track design is actually good. In Maple Treeway, the wood is annoying to drive on, especially with inside drift. (the smallest screw up and you're off) And Toad's Factory has no shortcuts and the mud at the end is the reason I lost a bunch of 3star ranks. (getting hit on the last lap is not fun)
Koopa Cape has several shortcuts throughout and you actually need to use skill to succeed. That is why it is my all time favourite course. And the music does fit.

You obviously don't watch competitive MKWii, because there IS a shortcut in Toad's Factory. If you trick off one of the bumps near the pond just right, you can jump OVER the pond. It's a very high level trick, and takes more skill than any shortcut in Koopa Cape.
