Anyway moving on, what's the best book you guys have read? I'm currently re-reading Carmilla by Sheridan Le Fanu and I have to say it's a great read, amazing twist on the classic vampyr trope that was well established in early Gothic literature, and also served as the inspiration for Bram Stoker's Dracula

Also I understand how sometimes what you say comes off as something else (I get that all the time lol), just try not to worry about the activity of the forums too much, I've been on MKPC for well over 3 years, the forums aren't going anywhere

November is here. (2025 went so fast…)
Imo November is by far the worst month, nothing interesting happens and the weather in Canada is terrible (sorry if your birthday is in November)
For me the worst month is by far June, I don't think I need to get into why (no I'm not against who the main event we all know is aimed at, I'm literally part of that community, I just find that the event in question brings more harm than good), it's also far too hot for my liking
Being Celtic, November actually has quite a lot of significance, marking the beginning of winter for us pagans, and also marking the arrival of the Cailleach Bharra (horned witch goddess), idk I find it kinda fun to dress up all spoopy on Samhain and chill with a spiced latte in my hand (this is also usually when it starts snowing where I'm from, I love the snow even if autumn beats every season for me)

Honestly, I couldn't agree with you any more, I don't think it's understood that the forums are NOT designed to be chats, and SFA is not a group chat. Literally everyone upvoted Invu's message and followed it for around a day, and then somehow (un)miraculously and unsuprisingly forgot all about. If you really want to speak to eachother and send one liners or even 2-3 words, just use the damn DMs..

Just to be clear, stop screaming at me when I don't use DMs because I CANNOT use DMs. The code behind it isn't compatible with systems below the HTML 4 age. EG: Wii U, PSP, 3DS, and many more in this era...
Nobody's screaming at you? It's fine if you can't use DMs but it's been made very clear that the forums aren't to be used as a groupchat, so please try to make your messages longer than one word or sentence, you can discuss multiple things in one message and you don't have to talk about every little thing either (alternatively you could invest in a system that uses HTML-4 or above and use DMs that way).

Thank you! I'll be using GameMaker Studio, which is what Toby Fox used for both Undertale and Deltarune, so I won't code using a traditional language, but I'll upload the game when I'm done (the first Arc at least)

I really don't think there was any animosity intended, as he said, English isn't his first language (heck it's not mine either so I can relate personally to being misunderstood) but again icl debates over sprite design is probably best left for DMs, especially when it's just one word messages like "Hey!" which may I reiterate isn't what the forums are to be used for

Ice can't be a loaf of water because it doesn't go through the fermentation process necessary for it to be considered as such, it just freezes
